I'm a pretty efficient packer, so I never saw the need for cubes before. But decided to get these after a friend raved about how much she loved them.I used them for a five day trip last month and I can't really say they saved a ton of space, but the compression did make some difference. I was able to fit the large, medium, and two small cubes into a carry on suitcase, with room for my tablet, toiletry bag, and an extra pair of shoes. But the convenience was far more impressive than the compression..For the first night in a hotel on the road, I packed just what I needed for that night and the next day in one small cube. It was so easy just to pull that one cube with everything I needed out if the suitcase, then put the dirties back in that cube to keep them separate.When we got to our destination, since I had put all of my PJs, socks, and underwear in a small cube, I just unzipped it and sat it in a drawer, no unpacking needed. The rest of my clothes, including a cartagan sweater, fit in the large and medium cubes. And it was very nice having the cubes to separate the clothes I'd worn from the clean ones in my suitcase for the trip home.Like other reviewers said, the compression zipper will get stuck in the fabric if you aren't careful, but I found that holding my finger under the zipper to push down the loose fabric while closing it prevented that.As for durability, I packed them full but didn't overstuff them, so I can't speak to how well the seams would hold up to that. But they seem to be pretty well made.Over all, I'm happy with them, and wish I'd gotten some sooner because they do save a little space and make packing easier and more organized.

These are such a good and sturdy material, I don’t feel like they will rip when closing the compression side. They are perfect for carry on or a big suitcase, you can make them fit really well based on what you need.

What I loved is that they fit a lot in and the zippers were fantastic and everything compressed nicely. The only drawback for me is the color which I find a little boring. My other compression bags were from Tripped and they have scenery form national parks and outdoor scenes so they are more fun and I enjoy them more…however these were cheaper so I bought them in addition to my Tripped bags.

The durability is the only thing I dinged this set on. I've used them many times and they work great. solid, big quality zippers and a flexible fabric, but I don't see it lasting as long as my Away bag. So far so good, but I travel all year, many flights/hotels, I do a lot of packing and unpacking. When I've maxed them out and put them in my away bag, I think I gain more in my packing and you can already pack a TON in an Away bag, these help the journey if you can only take one suitcase, that's for sure. And they're pretty lol.

I have used these four times now, and I think they are great. They help sort your clothes and also save some space in your suitcase. Warning: they will encourage the over-packer so beware.

These are so nice and lightweight and give a good amount of compression with the second zipper feature. The lightweight nature of these has a drawback though. They are very strong and allow you to jam a lot into a small cube- but since there is nothing giving these cubes structure or shape if you pack them really full and are not thoughtful about shape you will be packing footballs not cubes. So, I really like these for keeping things organized while I pack- not sure that they end up saving me space. Love them for this low price though.

These compression cubes are good for organizing and the price is great...but.. compressing them is a challenge. I bought 2 sets and have had the same problem with most of the pieces. I had read the complaints that the material catches in the zipper when compressing so I have been extra careful and slow when doing this. Five times it snagged the material. I was able to fix four of them but the last one is most likely stuck forever. Very frustrating. (The zippers to close the cube seem just fine, it is just the zipper to compress the cube that is the problem.)

What I love about these bags is that they are stylish and cute. I was shocked at how I could fit all my clothes and underwear. Those bags allowed me to compress four outfits! Because of the compression, fitting everything into my small suitcase for a Frontier carry-on was the best! Everything was nicely organized and easily portable, plus a great value for the money.

Absolutely loves these compression packing cubes. I switched over to "modern", hard case luggage one side has an internal harness that holds clothes and the other side of the luggage is just a massive open space with a fabric zipper) recently and found that I don't love the cavernous side where clothes just crash around into each other during travel and spill out when you open your suitcase. These compression cubes are the perfect, low cost solution, as you can pack your clothes into them and put them into the large compartment and don't have to worry about everything falling out into a giant mess when you open your suitcase. It's a much nicer experience to pack and unpack when you don't have to reorganize things each time. You can also pack them and zip them down to be teeny tiny little packages which allows you room for other things (note: this compresses size, but not weight, so doesn't really allow you to pack "more", unless you want to pack more lightweight things). This is a must-have for travel!
