I used this on my own 26 year old skin and it made my skin look and feel visibly softer. It smells like a soft powder scent, not overbearingly fragrant. The balm is nice. Goes on baby's skin smoothly. No rash or reaction. Dries quickly with no greasy residue. Smells like Johnson & Johnson products, so your baby smells like a "baby."I just had my baby 2 weeks ago, so my sniffer is still a bit sensitive. So, as much as I love this product and smell, it does have a chalky/dry scent, is the best I can describe it, that chokes me up. That is my reasoning for the 4 stars rather than 5.

our little ones skin can get dry easily but with this baby balm we don't have that problem, to top it off it smells absolutely incredible and a little goes quite a long way.
