Serious runners - keep looking
These are a toy and although I like the idea -execution is lacking -as is performance. The little yellow insert traction cleats fall out.The heel becomes over-stretched and folds up and back around the heel - and does not stay on the sole - hence is useless for heel traction. If you're walking gingerly on ice - it works and stays in place. If you're athletic and actually using these on the ice and snow the performance is simply not going to be there for you.Keep looking - try another one.

Better than YakTrax Run
I run on snow and ice covered roads for most of the winter. For the past few years, I've been using YakTrax Run, which work okay for traction but do not last more than 200 to 250 miles so I needed at least two pairs to get through the winter. When the last pair wore out, I decided to shop for something else. The Korkers are actually a little more comfortable on hard surfaces ( my running route crosses a highway bridge which is usually bare asphalt): the YakTrax with their coils felt a little like running on marbles, the Korkers are more like tap shoes. The Korkers are maybe not quite as stable on packed snow but much better on ice. They also have a much more secure mounting system on the shoes: not only does the YakTrax system tend to slip, but I found that the Velcro band across the front of the foot caused pressure on my toes. Despite being "one size fits all," the mounting system on the Korkers is entirely rubber and fits my size 8 shoes like a glove.Where I'm hoping the Korkers will really excel is in durability. The YakTrax metal coils collapse and break, the relatively thin rubber gridwork that holds the coils together breaks, and the small cleats at the ball of the foot fall out. The Korkers cleats are much larger and replaceable if (or when) they fall out or wear down.If the Korkers make it thought this winter, I will declare them a clear winner!

Reliable, stable on ice
I like that this item really grips the ice, and that I feel safe walking on our icy driveway and road. (As an older woman I am very conscious of trying to prevent falls, so I use trekking poles for extra stability.) But I must say that it was quite difficult to adjust the straps to make them shorter for a secure, tight fit. However, when that was finally accomplished, the fit is perfect and secure, and there is enough stretch to make the item easy to put on and take off shoes or boots. I definitely would recommend this product over similar ones that I have tried.

Wouldn’t stay on my feet
Great when they stayed on the shoe, but fell off enough times through the course of a singleRun that I won’t recommend.I was wearing brooks ghost size 9.5 B. Had them adjusted to fit tight as possible.

Disappointed
These did not work for me. The first run I took them on was on a hard packed trail with icy spots. The cleats would not stay on. The rear cleats kept slipping up over my heal and the front kept slipping off my toe. I tried several time to change the tension but still had to fix every quarter mile or so. I have already returned them.
