WOW! I thought shopping for that very special card for my wife's 83rd Birthday would be a daunting task, but was I ever wrong!Jeff Bezos has done it again, and Amazon will always be my 'go-to' shopping site. When I saw this card I knew it was THE one for my Wife.She has never put it away and reads it frequently, accompanied with tears of joy and happiness. I had the entire left inside page to write my message to her. (Some customers were concerned about written messages smearing. This is NOT a problem using a fine point permanent Sharpie pen - no smears whatsoever!)The wood, which I believe to be cherry, is top notch quality expertly laminated to a rigid, durable substrate; it should last forever! The laser-cut design is delicate and expertly crafted. This card is a true work of art. Finally, the packaging was the most unique I haveever seen and absolutely guarantees product maximum protection; I put it all in the box mostly undisturbed and let RoseAnn open it from the start.Then I wrote my message on the eve of her birthday. It was perfect!

I have never seen a card quite like this before and knew I wanted to order it for Valentine’s day. The card itself is made of real wood so no two cards would ever look the same due to the grain in the wood. It is finished beautifully and will not give you splinters or anything of those sorts because the wood has been finished very smooth. The front on the card has a heat cut out on it with a red statin ribbon saying I adore you on the front of the card. There is a place on the back to write your own personal note (I plan on using a sharpie type pen on mine so it really shows up on the wood. It comes in a gift box that you can eithr wrap or just give as is like an envelope. Makes not only a great gift but a conversation piece as well. The craftsmanship of the card shows a great attention to details and the care they put into making the card. It is a perfect gift for Valentines day, anniversaries, just to say I love you or even a birthday card.

Mom had terminal cancer, so in 2017 she wanted to give Dad one final and lasting card for valentines day. She wanted one last card to make up for the cards she wouldn't be able to give in years to come. That's how she was, more worried that she might let us down by not "being there" than she was by the fact that she was dieing. Dad keeps this card on display in the livingroom as a memorial to their marriage. He tears up when he talks about it. It's to be expected, they met when they were teenagers and had been together since. Most of us dont get to know when our final Valentine's day is. We don't typically get to know when it is time to say our final goodbyes to our loved ones. She knew, but most of us will not get to know. If you have someone who means something to you, tell them now. I can wholeheartedly recommend this card. It's well made, the wood is beautiful and it's actually fairly thick. It's not some cheap veneer. This will last. And thank you bestomz, I really feel like this brings my Dad some comfort and will for many years. It will last for the years, like this year, when she wasn't there to give a new card.

This is an awesome card! Sending it out to a very special little lady this Valentine's Day, and I'm positive that it will delight!The card is of great quality, and is perfect to add a little note/letter to go with it. On the outside of the card, it is as you see it. On the inside right panel, you will see only the words "I adore you". There are No Other Writings within this card. Also found on the right interior panel will be a graphic of little hearts making up a larger heart below the phrase stated above. The left panel is a completely blank, glossy surface for writing (I advise marker, ball point or felt tip pens will not write well here). The material the card is made of seems fairly durable, just don't store it around moisture or high humidity, would very likely warp and/or separate.Would I buy this again? Yes.

The cellophane bag that it comes in says "Imitation Wood" -- bad description by Amazon.It looks like a sheet of plastic with a glossy sticker stuck on it that has a 'wood-grain' print. If you look at the surface with magnification, you can see it's a print -- it's definitely NOT wood nor a laminate. But of course, the paper is very possibly ground-up, processed wood.NOT as advertised !

This wooden card is so beautiful. It makes a wonderful gift statement. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is no envelope offered with it. It comes in a nice protective box, but the box has to be torn in order to remove the card for signing. Love the card; regret no way to present or address it.

Perfect card for someone if you are looking for something unique and a keepsake. This is a beautiful card that can be on display and kept forever! You need to use a permanent marker to write a message, can either do it on the wood on back or inside on the white. I wanted something unique and this is definitely it! and the box is perfect too :)

This is a cheap Masonite board with a wood grain cover not real wood . Too much trouble to return and considering the cost of a regular card it works out ok. Just not impressed with the quality of the product. Chalked up as a lesson learned !!

At £10 it's abortionately expensive. Worth about £3:99. She liked it, but it was only for one day after all.

Slightly smaller than expected. Seems fragile so keep safe. Very nice and different than a normal card
