Great LED Lamp Option
The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend is slowly morphing into an actual LED due to the amount of time/money he spends on LEDs. As a result, I've used almost every major LED co. in the market. I wasn't familiar with Winees, but the light looked dope in pics. The Winees app is useful and easy to use. I use the app to set specific colors beyond the standard 10ish when lamp is used manually. Super easy to connect to wifi, pair and setup acct. You can dim and brighten by running your finger in a circle along the top of the lamp either clockwise or counterclockwise (cool!) You can tap the top of the lamp to change through the 10 preset colors. Long tap to turn off manually. App also can power on/off. The "neck" extends an additional 5ish inches. While not superior to the 2 major LED co, overall I'm pretty impressed and it absolutely surpassed my expectations. Price is on par with quality and functionality. I absolutely recommend buying.

Great design, and a nice reading/mood fixture.
The media could not be loaded. I got this lamp as a companion fixture for my piano setup in my home studio and it's perfect. The Quality: It's a heavy-weighted base, and the materials are all smoothly finished. The recessed USB jack is rock-solid, AND the base has a locking tab for the cable so it doesn't accidentally get pulled out. The height adjustment riser is smooth and stable.Performance: The touch controls (tap on, tap to change, long press to turn off) work perfectly, as does the very cool dimming feature where a clockwise swipe around the top dims things, and counterclockwise brightens the output. I really like this feature, as its more variable than my other 3-step fixtures with simple on-off, high-medium-low settings.Light Output & Colors: It's difficult to capture the true colors with a digital device, but they're all very pleasing. The plain 'soft white' is perfect for reading, and the other colors are nice for setting a mood. One of the modes toggles through the range of colors, and I suppose that would be great for a party. It's not my favorite, but they do toggle between colors very smoothly, and they stay in each mode for a few seconds before changing to the next.Overall, I love this fixture. It's weighted to keep from tipping, the light output is variable, the colors are rich, and even if it only had the warm white for reading or ambient lighting, it'd still be a winner.Lastly, I tried using the remote app. It loaded from the App Store fine, and was easy to sign up for. However, once I tried configuring it with my WiFi network, it showed up as 'not secure'. I don't know if that's a flaw, or if that's standard fare for a network like this (I don't have any 'smart lighting' in my home), but I didn't feel totally comfortable with the connection. Other than that, it's perfect, and easy enough to control by touch (and kinda fun).

Comes With a Power Brick too. Yay.
This review isn't going to be as thorough because it's my third try this time, because for reasons unknown to me, it keeps not being accepted. All I can see is that my other two reviews said the exact url that you need to go to, in order to find a link to the app. Because the name of the app they want you to use is VERY similar to app that's popular and been around for a long time. So when you look for the app for this lamp, if doesn't even come up in the search results in the web store. Same goes for a web browser. Just know this then. If you try and put in the website for the app, just make sure to put the, "www," at the beginning too. At least for me, going to it without that wouldn't bring it up. And when you finally get to it, scroll to the bottom to find a link to the app, and then you can go straight to it and download it. Anyone who buys this will know what I mean.Anyway, yeah, it comes with the brick that plugs in the wall, which is uncommon these days. It also has a USB-C input, so you can be sure that the cord and the port on the lamp will last. The cord is a generous 5 feet long. And once you find the app, it works just fine, and even works with the popular smart homes. I also described in one of my reviews that wasn't accepted, how to get the lamp and it's app paired with one of those smart homes, but that was a lot of typing, and I can't be sure of what they think I said that couldn't be shown in a review, so I guess y'all are on your own... Just would be nice if they would tell you why a review wasn't accepted. How can someone correct a mistake if they don't know what it is!?!? I'm sorry, but I'm sure everyone who reviews feels this way. Once you get everything hooked up though, everything works great! And even if you don't, it can still be operated manually just fine. In fact, I have never used the app or my smart home connection to use it since I've paired and linked them. Since it's right next to me most of the time, I just manually operate it anyway, lol. And, this lamp has actually replaced a lamp that was three times more expensive, so that should say something!
