SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Conditioner, 13 Ounce

This is one of my favorite conditioners and it leaves a great feel and scent in my curly hair. I always can't wait to use it and it leaves a look in my hair that is shiny and full of life. Shea Moisture makes great shampoo and conditioners, and thankfully they still make this variety. My problem with the brand is that there have been a couple of other varieties of their shampoo I fell in love with only to see them discontinued. Many of their varieties are a bit too specialized, along the lines of "for fine dry curly hair" or something just as silly--when we all know the important ingredients are probably 99% the same. But anyway, this one is good, as is the shampoo of the same type.

This conditioner is very moisturizing. The scent is amazing, coconut-y without being too strong. Unfortunately, when used daily it left my hair feeling heavy and greasy. Initially this was not a problem, but the product seemed to build up on my hair even with regular shampooing. For reference I have long, thick, wavy hair, and typically my hair handles the Shea Moisture products well. Totally could work for someone else, just was not right for my hair type as I needed something more moisturizing but less heavy.

So moisturizing without being heavy. Perfect for my 2c wavy curly hair. Great value, lasts longer than most conditioners I’ve used. My hair feels soft and I think it looks good. Detangles well and smells light and coconutty, without lingering too much

I heard so many great things about this product before purchasing it and everything is absolutely true. It softens the hair in just minutes and the hair stays soft for a few days. THe smell is divine and stays for a few days. My styling routine got a whole lot easier and the curls look so much better. I got myself a new holy grail.

I really wanted to like this product. I have been on the search for a conditioner and shampoo with mostly natural ingredients when I came across this conditioner. By the description and the listed ingredients it sounded like it was exactly what I needed. After reading through the reviews I decided to give it a try. The conditioner smells great. If you do not have hair that has been lightened then this might be a good fit for you. Unfortunately for me the conditioner did not provide any moisture or softness to my hair. I did give it a second try just to be sure by going overboard with the amount if product, but that didn't work. My hair was so hard to brush through after showering that I had to apply an enormous amount of moisturizing products to get it brushed out. The hair around my face was completely dry by the time I finished getting it combed out. I had to wet it again to blow out the frizz. I should mention that I do have long hair. So, for me this is going to be used to shave my legs.

It is curly girl method approved. It moisturizes better than any other I’ve tried. The price is as high as I will go though.

I've been using Sheamoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Conditioner for a couple of years. I use it over damp hair, comb thru, style, and let dry. I like the soft untangled curly results. I believe manageable results would be easy for many styles.
