Heats up way faster than the original 12V heater on my printer.
Works very well on my home brew 3D printer but some care needed as it is mains powered. You need to use something like a solid state relay to control it and I also fitted a thermal fuse in series with each lead to improve safety and reduce risk of a fire. I also connected an earth wire to both the printer chassis and the moving metal bed of the printer. If you know what you are doing I recommend it.
