Quick and Convenient
Performed as expected. Great to have the convenience of doing this at home, in private.

No results
Followed the instructions, tracked delivery to the lab. Haven’t heard a peep and now the email address I registered with them isn’t recognised. No one answers the phone.

Easy to test - and gives me peace of mind with a new BF
There has been a big rise in UK STI rates over the last years, and I for one don't want to risk being part of it. Gonorrhea has increased by 25%, Syphilis by 5% and 1 in 14 people aged 16-24 have Chlamydia - wow! If you have symptoms, then you need to know that the NHS sequel health service is great; you can go direct without seeing your GP and the staff are cool about your problem and are non-judgemental about your lifestyle. But what if you aren't eligible for NHS treatment, or for personal reasons just can't get to their clinic, or don't have symptoms? And what if you have a new BF with a past history of partners and you want to feel safe before giving up using condoms? That is where home testing comes in.Pros ✅ this is the Randox Confidante Home STI Testing Kit. Randox Laboratories, an international diagnostic solutions company headquartered in the UK.✅ The cost here is a lot less than getting the same test kit from certain high-street chemists' shop (well done Amazon).✅ It works on "asymptomatic" infections - just wait 14 days after your "risky encounter" before testing if there are no signs or symptoms of trouble.✅ You do the test yourself and register an email address or phone number for the results to be returned to (make up a name for a gmail account if you are worried about being identified) before sending off the sample.I read the instructions over before doing it - and I found it easy to do the test.Registration was easy. Now I just want to know that we are clear (they promise 10 days is the longest wait).Cons ❌ no test is 100% perfect - so if you have symptoms and a clear test please head to the clinic. Also - if you do test positive, you need to tell your sexual partners that they are at risk. The NHS clinics will do that for you if you ask.OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to use the service again. Also - if you don't have the money for this kit - contact the NHS (they have a website) and in many cases the NHS will mail you a home test kit like this for free.Lastly - If you have had sex without using condoms in the last 3 days and think you were exposed to HIV then don’t wait. Do a www search for "HIV post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) NHS services - or for out of hours support you can get PrEP from MHS A&E departments. Early treatment makes a big impact on catching HIV/AIDS.

Expensive and complicated...
I understand why this exists as a product. Some people lack the time to go to a STI walk-in clinic, or need/want the discretion that this offers.I personally think it's a waste of time and money. After reading the instructions 4 times, I still managed to miss one detail regarding putting the right sticker on the right thing, and including the right piece of paper in the parcel with the sample. This totally invalidated the test, and the whole thing had to be binned - no second chances!Charging £60 for an STI screen that is available nationwide for free from the NHS is also an absolute crime.

Fantastic piece if kit
Whatever your reasons are for purchasing this kit is private to yourself and no one needs to know your reasons.I have never seen 1 if these kits able to purchase on line before and think it's fantastic, no taking time off work for appt's, waiting to get a appt or having to discusss your reason for a test especially if you are not showing any obvious sympotoms.Anyway the outer packaging of the kit is very obvious whats included inside the box so do bear this in mind if opening the outer packaging box in front of others. Personally i would have preferred a less discrete outer box .Anyway the rrp offers good value for money, had you visited a private clinic the cost would have been a lot higher and this kit offers a very comprehensive range of 10 common sti's.Great fast turn around via email, very clear and concise instructions.I like the idea of recieiving a comprehensive breakdown of the results, giving you a understanding of what the results mean and any further action if needed.Being able to read the results myself in the private is great.I would highly recommend such a test kit, privacy, peace of mind and a great rrp for a easy to use kit

Private
When I seen this kit, I was intrigued because I like to keep on top of my sexual health, but I’m really shy to go to the GUM clinic. I feel like people would judge me because I have four children already. I know that’s a really dated view of sexual health but that’s how I feel. As you can imagine when I seen this kit it seemed perfect for me because of the discreetness. I was dubious what was actually being tested, and if it was accurate because it’s only a urine sample. However, I received the results and everything was fine, so I trusted the process. There is a little bit of IT proficiency involved in receiving the results so if you’re shy of IT this may prove a little tricky. Otherwise, happy with the experience and certainly happy that I didn’t have to go to the GUM clinic.
