Mouse stalker
Best trap .I had a few mice escaped in my presence for a couple reasons but end of day I caught every one of those mofo's. Best bait is peanut butter by far I've learned you need to keep bait fully inside bait bucket on trap. If you leave a smudge on the outside that's all they'll eat causing freedom as I've explained earlier. It's a little tricky but with patience its easy to figure out. I only bought a pk of 2 but I should have bought more because if you got 1 mouse 🐁 chances are she's a pregnant one. Trust I found out the hard way. I definitely will buy this product again if needed. Good pricing . Big update from the old wooden style. Handle properly no more sore fingers !! 😆👍

Easy and effective
I bought these partially because of posted reviews but also because I figured with six traps I should be able to get at least one mouse. First night I put out 5 traps - next morning, four mice caught! The fifth trap was on a table where we found mouse droppings once but probably wasn't on their regular route. One trap was on the floor of the passenger side of our car since we'd found chewing evidence in the glove compartment (that was a new box of M&Ms!) and yes, the car thief was caught. The next night I placed traps out in the same places but only caught one - I like to think it's because the population was so much lower. Some reviewers have mentioned caught mice still being alive, and that did happen with one of the six (so far). I filled a 5-gallon bucket about halfway with water and dropped the whole trap in. The trap sank enough to hold the mouse under, and within one minute it was out of its misery. These traps are easy to use - much more than the old wooden ones (which weren't exactly challenging). I think if the spring was stronger it would mean fewer survivors but I worry it could also lead to decapitations... Bottom line: effective tool at a great price.

Easy to use. Killed within 2 days of placing traps
So easy to use. Just put in bait, I use peanut butter, and life the kill bar. It’s so easy compared to the wooden original traps. They’re reusable but it grosses me out to take out the mouse so I purchase new ones. They do seem to fling very far after they kill but as long as it’s a quick and clean kill I am fine. It took me a little to look for the trap. Definitely recommend.

Weak and Ineffective
I set 3 of these traps last night. All three caught a mouse but the trap is so weak that the mice were able to wriggle their way out of them and escape unharmed. I personally saw one with its entire head clamped down by the trap and I went to get gloves to remove it thinking it was dead but by the time I got back it was gone! I don’t know what these traps aren’t supposed to eliminate but it sure ain’t mice!

Easy to Use, but Needs a Few Tweaks
I really like these traps for how easy they are to set just pull the red handle up—no more worrying about smashing your fingers. Once triggered, they’re also simple to release and reset, which makes cleanup quick. That said, they do have a few flaws. They're very lightweight, so if the trap doesn't kill the mouse instantly, it can drag the trap away. There's also no built-in way to bolt or tie it down, and the sides aren't flush with the base—meaning a rodent could trigger it from the side and survive, which isn’t humane. To fix these issues, I drilled a hole in the bottom, bolted the trap to a piece of wood, and built a tunnel around it so mice can only enter from the front. This setup prevents side triggers and keeps the trap anchored. Problem solved. Overall, I’d still recommend these traps, especially if you’re willing to make a few simple modifications

They work 5/5
They work. I put some peanut butter in the bait part. I caught the mouse I was trying to track down in about five days.

They work! :UPDATE
I have used these mouse traps for about ten years or more in my barn. I would guess that each trap has killed at least 100 mice. They work well and only rarely are they sprung without a mouse in it that managed to get away. They are easy to clean and re-use. I use peanut butter and can usually catch 4-5 mice before having to put more peanut butter in the trap. These are the best traps I have used. No gimmicks, or over engineering here, just a basic trap that works well. UPDATE: I see that some folks are saying the traps don't work well. I found years ago that if the mice can push the traps forward or off to the side while trying to get the bait out, the trap will go off and will not catch the mice. The trap has to be placed up against something so the mouse cannot push it away. I set mine against the base of a stairway on a rug that stops the trap from sliding around on a smooth floor and the mouse cannot push it away. I might miss a mouse once in about 25 kills. I've also found it helpful to move the location of the traps after each kill. It seems some mice will avoid a trap that has killed and remains in the same spot every time. I've even had mice that will lick the peanut butter out of the front of the food compartment and not lift it up to set the trap off. They seem to be smarter than we might think...

Works great and is reusable!
These traps work great and are 100% reusable! I am kind of sorry to say that these killed so many mice. In our case 27 all outside. But they kept on chewing through our outside AC unit. Very expensive to fix 3 times! Anyway great product!

Little trapdoor that mice need to lift
This is one of many mouse trap designs. The mouse must lift a "trap door" (like a hinged plastic lid) to access the bait and trigger the bar. This has not worked for me as of yet, but it is much better than the older mouse trap design that I used in the past with no hidden bait. This trap works on smart and fool mice alike.

Mouse Trap
Delivery was very slow for this item, but I have to say the quality of the product is very good. I can also confirm it works as designed and disposal of occupant is easy without catching fingers. I have found putting peanut butter in the bait receptacle, works well. The trap is different to classic designs, instead of the pest putting weight on the pressure plate, a plastic flap is lifted so they can get access to the bait which sets the trap off. By the way No Cheese was hurt or damaged while using this product!
