Easy to use. Cleaned out the carbon. Worked for me. Could not clean it this well without it. Rifle returned to perfect operation after a few minutes of cleaning. Stores in grip for field cleaning.

The BCG - for me - is the most difficult part to clean. I find it quite the hassle to get to carbon deposits in the tough-to-reach areas. This tool is a blessing! It's very effective to get to those spots. The tool is a brilliant design: cleans three different part/areas with one tool. Suggest to get those areas coated with CLP or carbon cleaner first, and let sit for a few minutes, and then use this tool to scrape off deposits.

It works as advertised. Easier way to clean these parts then how I was doing it before. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I would recommend owning one.

As Otis has been in the firearm cleaning product game for a while now, I expected more from the B.O.N.E. The B.O.N.E. is used to clean the AR 15 bolt, firing pin and the bolt carrier inside.The firing pin is inserted into the side of the B.O.N.E. and turned to remove the built up carbon. It did this to a point and I had to remove the final bit of carbon with a small brush and some cleaner.s the cleaning of this particular part any easier.To clean the inside of the bolt carrier, the B.O.N.E. is inserted into the bolt opening of the bolt carrier and turned to scrap away the carbon and did a very good job of that. Some cleaning solvent and a couple q-tip and it was clean.As for the bolt. This is where it really let me down. the bolt is slipped into the end of the B.O.N.E. and again, turned to remove the carbon. All it managed to do was smooth down the rough edges and leave a layer of carbon. I had to finish things off with a dental pick and a small brush to get it clean.I have several cleaning devices and between them all, things get cleaned but there is not one that stands out from the rest.
