I'm sure this one works beautifully as well but I wanted the Montreux trim because it suits the subway tile style of our new bathroom. This one is not "Axor" so it may not be as smooth and amazing feeling to turn on and off as the Axor but this would be a question for the amazing people at Hansgrohe customer service. They will talk you through any questions!

Amazon llc has now sent me 2 defective trims, the inner hub that the set screw engages for the main handle is not drilled through all the way, and is slightly "off" by a few degrees, this item cannot be installed. Now I am chasing the parts.

Being a contractor I buy and install Hansgrohe all the time. The ibox is wonderful since it can be purchased installed immediately while you wait for the trim. I purchased this very simple valve, which sadly leaked right off. drip drip drip. I called Hansgrohe tech service who are very responsive. They sent a replacement cartridge, no questions, receipts or return items. Great! but when the valve arrived 4 days later the package description said DELTA pressure balance cartridge! I'm sorry I thought I bough Hansgrohe. So just beware that this Hansgrohe valve is really a DELTA Cartridge with Hansgrohe's name marked on the trim. I don't see DELTA anywhere in the description.
