Just installed this new filter because it was due. My air purifier is so quiet you barely know it’s in. I know it’s working by all the dirt collected in the last filter. These filters last a long time and they work well in my environment. Great value for the money since it cleans the air to make it easier to breathe. It looks great and fits in any place.

These filters work so well and are so easy to install, replace, and use. We take advantage of the savings and keep them coming on "subscribe and save" for my mother-in-law and father-in-law. My mother-in-law has quit smoking for about 7 months now and it has really cleaned up her air due to third-hand smoke (within furniture). Her husband smokes outside or in his little music room. This filter keep her home fresh, while she's on oxygen and trying to improve her vascular health. It didn't take long for the first one to be used up so badly and "un-cleanable" and we can't wait for the second filter to now last longer for her... due to an improved environment. (Kind of like when you rinse dye out of your hair - gotta keep going until it rinses "clear"). We are pleased so far! Now, my father-in-law's place smells so much better after going through a couple of these filters - I can now pop over next door and visit him and even if it is only for 5 minutes to bring him dinner, I no longer stink of smoky hair when I walk back home. Facts! I can now visit with him much longer without stinking of smoke and feeling like I need to shower away the toxins. LOVE OUR FILTER MACHINES as well THAT THESE FILTERS GO INTO. We also have a filter machine of this type in our own home and we buy the filter for pets. We will start using that one after our outside catio is complete to "clean up" our inside air. We currently use the original version which is awesome and is always cleaning the air of "smells" when cooking is happening.

It fits the purifier perfectly, it’s just as quiet as the original filter, now that the filter has been in the air purifier for a few days it’s working great, my room smells fresh and the air is clean. For some people the following may be an important consideration for the toxin absorber filter specifically. I have a Levoit Core 300s and a Levoit Vital 200S around my house, and across all of them i have tried all the Levoit filters. The pet dander and smoke remover filter are absolutely worth the extra money. The smoke remover is overall my favorite, I think it does the best job at removing odors of all kinds from the air. The pet dander filter is great specifically for people like me who have dogs that smell like Fritos, that’s a very distinct smell, and that filter is great at capturing it. This was my first purchase of the toxin absorber filter, and when it was first installed there was a faint smell coming from the air leaving the machine. It had that sterile/hospital type smell. It doesn’t fill the room and isn’t nauseating but it is noticeable if you’re breathing near the machine. I did some research and most places said the smell comes from the carbon having enhanced filtration abilities and should go away. Idk about the claim of enhanced filtration, but the smell does go away. I ran it on high for 12 hours and it was gone for the most part, after 24 it was gone completely. Time will tell if this one is also worth the money. But if you’re very strict on having your air smell like nothing, I would just avoid this one if you don’t want the first 24 hours of use to be unpleasant. I hope they see this review and find away to address the problem. I will update. Update: it’s now the end of December of 2025, I still have the toxin absorber filter in the Vital 100S I keep in my bedroom, and I like it. According to the app the filter has about 50% of its life left — Around this point is when the original filter started getting less efficient at removing smoke odors, but this one is still pulling smells out of the air like it’s brand new, so the claim about the enhanced carbon layer causing the new filter smell just might be true🤷🏻‍♂️ This makes me happy as a customer because I would have been really disappointed if I noticed no improvement in filter lifespan despite spending extra money. The smoke remover filter is still the best in my opinion since you can get comperable performance, an extra filtration layer, and the enhanced carbon without the weird smell, but the toxin absorber also does offer some extra value, not only a higher pricetag. You can tell there was genuine effort put into designing these filters for specific purposes and I can appreciate that. I don’t see myself repurchasing this one because as a weed smoker with a pet, the smoke remover and pet dander filters just make more sense for me, but I don’t regret trying this one, it still gave me my moneys worth.

Just as described. I love my Levoit purifier and stay on top of replacing the filter regularly. I keep mine running 24/7 and we have two pets, so I replace my filters maybe more frequently than some and therefore have ordered these many times. I’ve never had any issues with the filter I received, and the packaging and quality is always consistent each time. Replacing the filter is ridiculously simple and takes 5 seconds, if that. I prefer to purchase these replacement filters specifically because they’re directly from Levoit, and for the specific model, so there’s never a question of if they will fit or not. I also buy these because I want to make sure I’m getting the maximum results intended and designed for my air purifier. Sure, I could probably buy a knock off brand for cheaper, but I want my machine to run and perform as it is supposed to so I can feel more confident that the results are as good what the purifier claims to offer. I also want it to last a long time! If you use the app to keep an eye on filter life, make sure you mark the filter as replaced when you switch them out, I forgot this last time!!

Bought this replacement filter after the old one developed an unpleasant smell from regular use. This new filter works really well and the air feels fresher again almost immediately. It was easy to fit and the purifier is back to running quietly and efficiently. A worthwhile replacement and good quality overall.

In diesem Fall schreibe ich ausnahmsweise eine Bewertung. Der Filter ist zwar teuer, dafür funktioniert er aber. Wir haben als Alternative zusätzlich einen günstigen no name Doppelpack gekauft, der geht wieder zurück, da er nicht filtert und sogar Feinstaub rauskommt! Die 20€ günstiger einkaufen hat sich nicht gelohnt und ich ärgere mich gerade so richtig über den no name Filter.
