Simple, quick, easy, daylight and privacy
Love this, so easy to apply it's actually meditative and enjoyable to do. It's not thick exactly but robust so you can easily peel it off and place it time and time again with no fear of ripping. You don't need to cut with the scissors either, they glide along it like wrapping paper. It doesn't shrink to fit at all so the directions state to cut extra but don't bother, that's just a waste and you'll fit more if you cut as accurate as possible, really easy to cut around the edge with a craft knife once in position. Wetting is the crucial part, doesn.t stick w.o water but just a dampl cloth on the reverse and a wet clean window, easy. What a revelation, i now have daylight in the room which transforms it completely, with full privacy and a lovely bird print. Previously had awful 70s style vertical blinds which collect dust, spider webs, mould, just gross, made a hideous noise bashing around when the window's open and you waste so much time every day opening them all separately then closing them again at night. Ugh, and for what? they don't offer any privacy. So. Glad. They're. Gone. It's my Dad's house, he's in his 80s and reluctant to change anything so have so far only done my bedroom for fear of inducing a heart attack. Lounge next :P Really quick and easy to do, you won't regret it.

If you have patience issues move on
It's good film, looks nice but it's a pain to fit. My suggestion is if you are really accurate and OCD with attention to detail measure your windows exactly and cut exactly to size as cutting against putty in wood double glazed windows is a pain. The stickers that come with it to peel off the backing are useless, use a scalpel btonlift the corner of the backing film and peel off.Ideally buy some distilled water and some baby shampoo to spray on the glass. Like all jobs preparation is the key, get your glass super clean with the baby shampoo distilled water 1st. Don't make my mistake clean with windowlene then discover you shouldn't then have to clean that off then clean again.Film can be cut with a scalpel or Stanley knife when fitting, I used the recommended squeegee which worked well but found a steel ruler up the edge of the frame gave the nearest cuts. It's a decent thick film and I checked from street in daylight you definitely can't see in even with the lights on. Just be aware that it blocks quite a lot of light.Prints lovely.

Great stuff, stays in place and easy to apply
Easy to apply. I used a Stanley knife as I went for cutting to size whilst it’s on the window but I have used this type of product many times before (be careful not to cut off the seal if you have it up against the glass and obviously also not to over cut and cause a less ‘clean cut’ final effect. Have this in my 9 year old daughter’s bedroom. She’s not missing out in a beautiful view so it actually makes the room feel a little more friendly, lets the lighting and means that she can’t been seen when getting dressed/undressed. The bird pattern we have is really nice and looks great up. Has been in place for almost a year and still exactly as when I first put it up, very happy.

Very easy to install.
I was looking for an easy solution for my bedroom windows. We are on the ground floor and have no privacy whatsoever from a shared garden and neighbours that overlook. I didn’t want to have blinds or net curtains as I don’t like either. I bought this design for my son’s bedroom. It was very easy to measure and cut. I was able to use the entire roll and there was no wastage. I had to cut two sections for the side of the window as the vinyl wasn’t wide enough. But it worked out really well and he can now play in private. I bought a different design for my bedroom and it’s really quite pretty when the sun shines through as we get a diamond type reflection on the walls. A huge bonus is that you cannot see into my property even in the dark so I don’t have to pull my curtains at the moment the sun goes down. Also there is enough light coming into the room that the room isn’t dark in the daytime. Also removing the vinyl is really simple. Pull one corner and it comes off straight away. no sticky mess and the integrity of the windows remain intact. Excellent product and I would recommend. Has lots of uses. Not just for windows.

Hoped for a bit more....
Was hoping for a splash of colour whilst providing more privacy but very subtle and not what I'd hoped for. Not it's fault as such and in fairness was fairly easy to put up

Privacy & light
Pretty design for the garden & good level of privacy whilst still letting in the light for the shed
