Strongest Tape I’ve Ever Used - Better get your act together before you eve open the tube!
OK, first let me say this is by far THE STICKIEST tape I’ve ever used. A couple years back our son got in a tangle with a Sonic drive thru sign and creased (actually slit) the rear passenger side door. It’s old but dependable, so we used first black duct tape and later Gorilla tape to weather seal the 15” long horizontal slit. Neither listed very long so I decided to try this product for a change.Holy cow, it sticks to everything. Make sure and have your act together before you try to use it. I thought I did, but my scissors were not sharp enough to get a nice clean cut and I wasted about 1’ of the stuff just trying to get it unwarped. Again, it sticks extremely strong to anything it touches. After prepping the surface (removing al old adhesive), I tried to put an18” long piece on my hot black metal door. I should have parked in the shade and should have also used a soapy speed tac spray like hen I install decals. Anyhoo. First tempt was not great it was cracked and had some creases but had I left it alone, it would hve functioned perfectly.I’m a perfectionist, so I decided to remove the first section of tape and put a new one on. BAD DECISION. This stuff really sticks hard on contact. I made a mess and it took all my strength to get it off. With tons of adhesive left on the door, and only about 12” of tape left, I covered the worst part then used a can of Goo Gone plus some lighter fluid to try to remove the exposed adhesive.Anyhow, for my type of use this stuff REALLY works. II’ve ordered another 5 ft roll and will do y damndest to get it light the next time.

Update:100 Gallon Horse Water Trough Repair
I have seeping water from 2 hairline cracks in my horse watering trough I’m trying to repair. I left it empty under the run-in so no chance of moisture would interfere with the repair process. Beginning, I brushed the sand off and pulled the trough out and left it upside down to warm in the sun. I cut strips to press along the length of the hairline crack and pressed it firmly following up with another strip crosswise to secure the first strip and edges of tape. I left it in the sun and will fill it today. I’m confident it will hold water, but how long? I will update to inform others of any details and lifespan and adjust Stars accordingly.5 Stars for saving me trough replacement cost!Easy to use - Scissor Cut - Peel Backing -Press On.Update: 85° sunshine made the tape bubble up but only on the hairline crack. I pressed the tape back down firmly and let it cool, then filled with water. It’s seeping out slower, so not completely sealed. Will redo in the shade soon, clean with alcohol and tape it better with Large strips and update.

Worked Well For Me
I used this to repair a crack where my rubber truck bed mat bends when you lift the tail gate up. I've had it on now for several months and it's holding up great. To explain better, the mat extends about three or four inches beyond the end of the truck bed so that it covers the gap that's left when the tailgate is in the down position. Normally the gap might not bother you but for me I use my truck bed to carry yard waste, mostly grass clippings to the recycle yard every week. I then simply push it out of the truck. Without the mat covering the gap the grass falls in the gap making a mess. Over the years the mat had cracked along the total width where it would be bent and almost completely separated. I used the 6 inch wide flex tape to secure it. My only reason for only 4 stars is it is a little stiff and doesn't quite lay flat when the gate is down but it still does the job I wanted it to do. By the way before this I did try duct tap and it just would not stick.

Very Sticky
The product was great. I had two rubbber backed rugs I needed to put together. Every other tape, including regular duct tape, would not keep them together. This product was perfect. It was wide enough and the adhesive is great. Be careful when getting it off the roll because when the tape sticks to itself, you will not be able to pull it apart. Use very sharp scissors if you need to cut it.

Not as good as the commercial implies.
Maybe I was sent a defective roll? The glue works great but, if under enough stress, loses adhesion with the backing. Resulting in the glue being still attached to the object but not the tape, rendering the tape useless unless even more tape is added. Males me wonder how long that boat held together. The glue works so well that, unlike Mr. Swift in the commercial, I cannot tear off a strip with my hands. Scissors are required but the glue also sticks to them, making cutting a strip rather difficult.

super strong bound, when used correctly.
a few weeks ago someone tried to break into my convertible through the back glass, was hoping I could get it repaired but according the two shops it was too bad for repair. I purchase Flex Tape in hopes it would work until the insurance claim came through and I would put on a new top. it worked GREAT -- for about four days. Keep in mind that the Flex Tape was used to help keep water out of a car when it rains and I live in Florida where it's usually super hot, but after the fourth day the tape started pulling away. I'm still a fan of Flex Tape, just didn't work in this case.

Roof repair
I had some racoons decide that, while on my roof, they would try digging to China. Well, they did not make it to China but they did find their way through the shingles to the sheeting. I caught myself singing "Oh no,don't let the rain come down" for a couple of days while I was waiting for the Flex Tape to arrive. I cleared out the area of dug up shingles, placed the flex tape over the sheeting and replaced the shingles layer by layer. The package did not contain quite as much flex tape as I really could have used but it did work well. No leaks into the house since the repair so that is a good thing.
