Great Product From Lee - A Great Company
I have all manner of loading equipment on my bench. I know Lee makes a good product at a reasonably affordable price. I was hesitant to get this press, but have known about them for many years. I should have acted sooner. This thing is great! the box was tiny and I was shocked that it was all there ready to go. I bolted it (hardware provided) to a stub of 2X6 I had in the shop. Referenced the Lee provided paperwork for powder and shot bushing and got to work. C clamped the board and press to the loading bench and away I went. It turns out great shells with little effort. The crimp is great even on the bulk pack 20ga Federal and Winchester "shoot and chuck" shells. The sizing ring works perfect and uniformly sizes the bases down nicely. I have a very old MEC Sizemaster in 12ga and I have to say I may like using the Lee better. If you are like I was and hesitant to "take the plunge", wait no longer. Do it now. Buy this press and crank out some excellent shells.

works great
When I first received mine I was very disappointed. Even though I'm new to reloading, it looked so simplebut when I started trying to reload, I ruined 20 hull the crimping process was really messed up. Even if Igot a good preliminary crimp, I would ruin the hull in final crimp.Even for a beginner I was thinking something is not right here. So I asked for return and reorder of same model. When the second one came in, I had a little time that day to run a few thru it. Your guessed it10 for 10 no issues near perfect reloads. So I am very happy that it does what it's suppose to do.I even let my 11 year old grandson reload a few and he got 6 for 6 near perfect reloads. So overall Iam now completely satisfied with the LEE Load All 2. Definitely recommend. It will do the job.For first times users there are videos on Youtube very simple

Decent value for your money for casual loader
First let me preface this with that we have two boys on the trap team and we do quite a bit of shooting. We have three shotshell reloaders. Two Lee Loadall 2's (one 12 ga and one 20 ga) and we also have a MEC 9000. I have had the 12 ga Lee since I was a kid (more than a few years). We have put a several thousand rounds through it during that time and it has performed in an acceptable fashion and still works fine. It is a great little loader for the casual loader and is pretty easy to make changes to for working up a load. While we run thousands of rounds a year through the MEC for trap and have it pretty well locked into a set load, we still use the Lee's for trying out new loads, making hunting loads, or even using it for some handicap loads in a pinch. If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive reloader for some casual loading, you will be happy with the Lee LA II. If you need something more for high volume and speed, you will find that a MEC 9000 progressive is a good choice.

Target Load Press
I am new to reloading and picked this up about two months ago. I was looking for a press I could set up once for a target load both my wife and I shoot. Unsure if I would like reloading I didn't want to spend tons on press, and really I just need something simple that you set once. The Lee is great for my use. I've loaded about 600 shells to date and can fill a box without rushing in about 12 minutes. I regularly weigh the powder and shot thrown to make sure something isn't off and have had only consistent results. The one modification I've had to make was for a 3/4oz load. The smallest bushing that comes with the 20g press is 7/8. To get to 3/4 I cut a shell hull and put it inside a busing making the volume it could hold smaller. I started with alot of hull in the bushing and kept testing and shaving off more until it was throwing 3/4 oz. It wasn't very hard and it consistently throws 3/4 oz now.The one thing I will say about the Lee is that bushing adjustments or changes can be a pain. You either need to detach the press from your bench and try to pour out the powder while covering the shot and vice versa, or keep cycling the charge bar while catching the powder in one cup and shot in another. For my purposes this isn't an issue because I only want to use the press for one recipe. To set up the press with my recipe I put only a load or two of materials in the hoppers so I could make adjustments relatively easily. If your a hardcore reloader who loads a variety of hunting loads - this probably isn't the press for you.If you want a target load press to set once and pound the rounds out on, the Lee will do you well.
