I purchased a basic Smonet 4 camera system a while back. I'm up to 7 cameras now. I can add 1 more camera to my system, which I plan to do soon.Tech support has become great! Language difficulties were a problem. But no more.The nighttime infrared capability is incredible. A hundred feet of visibility is nothing for these cameras.And, 1080p cameras are now available. My 960p cameras are great, but 1080p would be awesome!Reasonable price, exquisite quality (I added their repeater for 3 cameras too far for wireless connection. Works great, though it would bolster 4 cameras)I am completely happy with Smonet and their products.I'm looking forward to linking the cameras to wifi soon to view the cameras remotely.You can't go wrong with this low priced system.I love it.Great value for the money.

I brought a set of smonet wireless 960p cameras with monitor system last year 2018 it works great and all the system are perfect. Until I decided that I needed a additional cameras so I brought this. However initially when I got this and set it up, the newest version of this cameras's coding doesn't fit into my NVR system so it can't display anything, apparently they had updated this camera. So I contacted smonet support and got this kind technician call Crystal and she help me download a additional software to changed the code on this new camera and then it connected right in to my NVR system. I at first was frustrated as the camera can't connect to my NVR at all. But the support team and technician Crystal were very helpful. I would buy from Smonet again.

Updated review. We have had this system for about a year now and we finally resolved the connection problems by putting the base unit of the system about a foot from the ceiling. That fixed it. Now the cameras connect quickly. One is still a bit of a problem but I guess we will just live with that issue. However, I STRONGLY recommend buying all the cameras you will need in your initial order. Trying to add cameras later is a struggle.

My camera flooded with water (like literally there's a water line across the middle of the lens) after a heavy rain. I contacted Smonet and Grace was great working with me to get the camera replaced. It's support staff like her that keep me coming back, adding more cameras, extenders, etc. - I've had my system for three years and they've been great the whole time.

It was easy to plug in each camera and get the pictures on the moniter.Only after a week one of the camera's went foggy..can't really use it anymore...I hope the seller will replace it..but cant see how to contact them.Getting it online ..we still haven't figured it out..unless you are very computer savy..its pretty hard.Multiple down loads and log ins..keying different pieces of equipment to connect to each other...can't get pictures up on cell phone...very stressful...most of it's a guessing game to figure out which icon to push to see what happens...not fun...so we will see if we ever get this all figured out..
