My wife is a 2nd Grade school teacher, and she has always ordered these pencils- for decades!!! LOL..Top quality, and easy to sharpen, along with a reliable pencil point that wil not break the moment a student uses it!!!After almost 4 decades of teaching, and almost 8000 students over the years, my wife says that these pencils are dependable, and a great value for the money..I trust her word on this!!! Ticonderoga is this teacher’s pencil ✏️ of choice! They are consistently made well and withstand students daily use. These are great being a different color than the standard yellow. They sharpen well and do not splinter.

My student wanted black everything and these fit the bill. Sturdy to be thrown around in backpack and pencil pouch, sturdy lead, and good eraser that doesnt smudge.

One pencil was shorter than the rest and completely missing an eraser, otherwise great pencils. My son prefers these over the traditional yellow ones.

For those who need to know, and can't find a user manual, Dixon Ticonderogas are usually used by applying the sharp (black) end of the wooden stick to a piece of paper, in a manner or style that indicates the thoughts that you wish to impart to the person (or yourself) who sees the marks you made on said paper. One nice thing is that the marks will last forever, unless there is a heavy wind, rain, high humidity, or lots of direct sunlight.It's important to note that the paper can be any color, except black or dark gray, in which case the result may not be visually perceptible.Additionally, the soft end of the stick is meant for deleting unintended results, unless you DID use dark paper, in which case, I'd recommend not using the soft end (the deleter) at all, in order to save it for future deletions. Instead, invest in a lighter-colored piece of paper and start the whole darn process over. Lighter color paper is sold on Amazon and other fine online retailers if you can't find any in your municipality.Dixon Ticonderogas are known to work on cardboard, softwoods, rough metals, and animal claws. They may not work on some plastics, whalebone, circus peanuts, or fish eggs. Never use Dixon Ticonderogas while driving a car or golfing. Likewise, using Dixon Ticonderogas under the influence of alcohol may result in serious misspelling, dyslexia, or poking of the hand, wrist, or nose.
