I use this chair on my hikes along our creek. It comes in an attractive heavy nylon bag. For having 4 feet, with large pads, and a sturdy swivel, weighs surprisingly little and is easy to carry. I needed a low seat, 15 inches, for my 5'10" frame. When sitting, my knees are about an inch above the hips, perfect for use in my hunting blind. The back actually does support. The problem with my old tripod hunting chair was that the feet sank in soft soil. It was nice to not have to reset this chair in search of a firmer spot. Being able to swivel makes getting out of and into my hunting position much easier. It folds up compact, is sturdy, and the nylon material heavy. I'm throwing away my old seat to be replaced by a 2nd one of these.

I can’t use other hunting chairs in my blind because they sit too tall and I have to hunch down. But this chair is the perfect height to get the shot through the windows. It is lower to the ground so if you can’t get out of a chair easily then this chair isn’t for you. I’m a pretty big guy and my bottom fits fine in this chair. But if you’re worried about lots of room for your bottom then this chair isn’t for you either. I can sit on this chair all day, but I do wish someone would make a wider swivel chair that has adjustable height to go shorter. But until then this is the best option I have found for hunting in a blind

I'm giving it a stars because it is sturdy and seems to swivel nicely. So far mine is quiet. Like many reviews noted it is quite low to the ground. The backrest posts are also narrower than my other favorite tripod stools so will have a tendency to dig into your back when you lean back. For reference, I'm 5'5" but do have a wide chest. I considered returning it but came up with solution. My turkey vest has a removable seat pad that is about 1 1/2" thick. I set this on top of the seat and it does 2 things. First it raises me up to a comfortable level and secondly it puts me up higher on the backrest supports where my chest is narrower. It's not bad like this at all.

Description shows overall height not height off the ground which is like 14” - shorter than even those cheap fishing stool seats. If they could add 6” to the center post it would be a near perfect portable blind seat. To bad - returned.

This is not very comfortable to sit on for very long. It doesn’t do great on uneven ground, if you lean or adjust to heavily it unlocks and tries to fold up on you. The plus is it does rotate easily and quietly but with the other cons not sure this was worth the price paid.

I typically prefer tripod hunting chairs because of their compact style and they are comfortable for me. This chair is neither. The chair is so small that it should be listed as "youth size". I am not a big man at only 5' 6" 200lbs. When I took this chair out of the box and sat in it, both arms of the backrest, dug into my ribcage to a point that I immediately realized I would not be able to use it. I put it right back into the box and it's on it's way back. One of the main examples of why I HATE buying stuff online prior to physically observing.

Got so many compliments when I used it on the golf course at Pebble beach.
