As such, we can expect a high level of patient compliance and superior healing while using our product. The Next ScienceTM Acne Treatment Gel is a topical gel material containing salicylic acid. This gel uses the minimum concentration of salicylic acid (0.5%) along with ingredients that optimize the efficacy of the salicylic acid by breaking down and solubilizing the protective extracellular polysaccharide, which encapsulates the P. acnes in the biofilm within the pores. The low concentration of salicylic acid facilitates effective treatment of P. acnes bacteria with minimal tissue toxicity or irritation.
