Why did you pick this product vs others?:They fit great and work amazing! Can-am come on red straps??? Anyway yes the two lower bolts are too long, I drilled out my rivets and used the spacers from the rivets on the lower bolts, no extra drilling no extra shortening of bolts, no purchase of extra bolts, installed both handles in less then 15 minutes!!!

Works great, so much better than the pull strap. Very easy to install.

These are way better than the factory strap. Install was easy and opening the door from the outside is much easier.

Tools that I needed: T27 torx, 5/32 and 3/16 drill bits (to drill out the rivet holding the strap), 5/16 wrench, 3mm Hex Key, locking pliers (To hold the rivet so it doesn’t spin while drilling)In my opinion definitely a must have over the pull straps. Easy install, only complaint is that the screws are too long and you will have to cut at least 2 of them down or replace them with shorter ones to get the bottom holes mounted. You will have to cut the plastic cover up a bit if you really wanted to keep it but it’s not needed considering it’s only real reason is to hold the strap in position.

These handles work great to replace the pull straps.

I liked the idea of this style of handle to eliminate the cheap strap design on my maverick x3. But in order for this handle to work properly, I had to cut a lot of the factory trim panel around the latch. They work well and are ergonomically sound, but it was a lot more work then I expected

If your still struggling with them dumb strap handlesThen this will blow your mind. Just pull the hatch cover off throw that away and bolt these up they're great!
