Motorcraft Fuel Filter

Perfect fit for 1998 F150 4.6 liter. Installation took about 45 minutes - but well worth it! Original filter lasted more than 116k miles - noticeable improvement with acceleration.

This is an OEM filter and works fine. I have to say adding a like it is not really the thing I feel since replacing this part on a ford truck is not easy. It should be easy, but not. Make sure you also get a fuel line tool or you will regret it, like I did. The Ford bracket is just very tight and the rust on mine probably made it harder as it would not slide out on the rusty surface of the bracket. I recommend getting the tool, after you get the lines off, plug the ends of the old filter! Gas will tip out on you from the filter as you work otherwise. I took a piece of wire, like hangar gauge, and put hooks on both ends. I put one end on the top of the bracket to hold it pulling up and the other end in a hole in the bottom of the truck body if you can envision this. Essentially, a hook mechanish to hold the clamp off the filter. WOrked, try it.

This oem filter fit perfectly on my 97 f150.

Installed on 96 Ford Ranger in 10 min. Need the special tool to release this. No leaks and good preventative maintenance. Great fitment! Great quality!

Belle qualité. On verra au fonctionnement si la filtration est selon ce que je m'attendais. Mais pour le moment, installation facile quoique le modèle est différent de celui en place.
