Happy with the way it looks; you don't notice a repeat pattern to the flame like with some fireplaces. We've been using this for three months now (winter temperatures 25-55 deg. outside) to heat our master suite instead of running the HVAC system. Although it's rated for up to 400 sq. ft., it keeps our 600 sq. ft. L-shaped room at a steady temperature at about 3 deg. less than the 75 degrees we set the thermostat to, and it still turns on and off to maintain the temperature. Of course it produces some noise (what heater doesn't), but it's about the same sound as white noise produced by sleep devices. When you turn it on/off, change temperature and flame setting, it beeps a little louder than I prefer if I turn it on or off when my spouse is sleeping. Sometimes when I click it off with the remote it comes back on immediately, so has to be clicked again to turn it off. Very happy with it.Addition to my original post (above): Have now been using this for a year and still just as satisfied with it. Just recently it has developed a little quirk: occasionally when I turn it on, the tube that the LEDs shine through to make the flames, revolves in reverse, making the flames look like they are going down instead of up. Turning off and then back on corrects the issue. Heater still works great. Everyone who has seen mine says it's the best fake flame they've ever seen.So... now it is seven years after buying this, still using all night long during winters, and it works like it's brand new. What lasts that long these days???

The media could not be loaded. I was a little nervous about buying this based on other people's reviews. Some said the flames were just orange, not colored; some people said they didn't have a choice of crystals or logs. I am not sure if those people are reviewing the correct product because those issues were not a factor with this purchase. Everything came carefully packed, included both logs and crystals, and took about a half hour to install and place the logs. If anything, placing the logs correctly is the most time-consuming part because they have to be turned a certain way in order for the light to shine through and make them look like embers, and it is a little tricky to get them to stay where they should. However, once we put the glass front on the unit and turned it on, we were in awe. It really adds a great ambiance to the room. There is a quiet humming that occurs when the unit is running, and it gets a little louder when you increase the intensity of the flames, but for the most part, this fireplace is great. If you have other noise going on in the room, you really will not notice it. Heater is pretty quiet. Being able to mix different colors together is a nice option as well. After doing extensive research and comparisons of different fireplaces, this one seemed to be the best price for the most realistic flames.

We recently moved to the South and most the homes in the area do not have fireplaces. I am a Colorado Native and living without snow is one thing, I have to have a fireplace!!!! So I spent months to find the closest thing to our old gas fireplaces that I had in Loveland. This one fit my budget AND the flames are pretty realistic. The best part is, they are tall "flames". Most of the more expensive electric fireplaces the flames are just a few inches tall. NOT very real looking.The fireplace was shipped in a very nice box, with "just in case" return instructions. Stuff happens in transit. Fortunately, my fireplace came intact. We had a professional move our tv up onto the wall and he offered to hang this fireplace. It took him about 15 mins to install it. I am SO glad we bought this fireplace. I love that you can just turn on the flames without the heat. The only con is that there is not crackle sound, but.. neither did my gas fireplace. If you are on the fence about this fireplace. I think it's a good deal. I can't wait for cooler weather for hot cocoa infront of the fireplace!Update: I still love our fireplace. However, the remote that came with the fireplace still works, but the LCD has stopped showing you details, ie. temperature, timer. It just flashes r. I could purchase a replacement here, but after only a month and a half, I shouldn’t have to. I’ll call co. To see what they can do!

The media could not be loaded. If you are currently searching Amazon and Wayfare for the best wall-mounted fireplace/price, I think that this one may be a winner. The quality of the fireplace/heater mount is pretty impressive, the size of it in a room is probably one of the better deals I have seen. I am really happy with what comes in the packaging, you are given the option to keep the fireplace completely empty with just lights / flames or.. they provide you some fake logs, and some fake ice cube looking stones.The fireplace was delivered in a timely manner, the company is supposedly very understanding as long as you are within the return window if you didn’t like it, the mountain of it is not very complicated or difficult either, and all of the pieces come with it.Here’s my ONLY concern: take a look at some of the photos that I have posted, the fireplace looks great mounted and up, it functions well, and the heat actually produces more warmth for the room that I have it in then expecting. However there is a Glass piece that mounts to the wall mount as you can see, and the glue job for that is a tad bit concerning.I assume that the glue is the appropriate type for this type of product, however the person who attached the bracket to the glass piece with the glue just seemed a little bit messy? I also am just concerned that this glue will withstand the heat/weight combination of the glass face.I would be incredibly curious if anyone else had this concern, and if any problems have arise from people who have purchased.Thanks for reading!
