The Spaniard's Pregnant Bride (Heirs Before Vows Book 1)

I finished this book so it wasn't a total snooze. But holy cow it had no great story, and the two main characters Christian and Allegra had zero chemistry. The internal chatter from inside Allegra's head sometimes went on for pages. I found myself turning my kindle pages at the speed of light. The internal chatter even managed to ruin the ending. I really didn't care for this book. Can't really recommend it.

Was thrilled to find it. Needed it to complete a series. Thoroughly enjoyed this book!

The story was okay. I found the revelation that they subconsciously knew each other in disguise unbelievable. The fact that he would help arrange a marriage for her because he was so secretly in love with her was also far fetched.

Love Maisey Yate's books!! This is a great start to a new trilogy. This story made me feel many feelings. Loved the hero and heroine and their story. Highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the kind of book I enjoy reading when I really want to escape to fantasyland. It's a story that grabs your imagination and let's you pretend to be Cinderella.

This reads as if it was written in the 1970s. You take one weak heroine, add one damaged and somewhat unpleasant (at least to start with) hero and mix. I appreciate the book is meant to be reflecting a different class of people than the readers, but really who, in this day and age, would accept marrying a man they didn't particularly care for just because her mother told her to. Give this a miss - life' s to short.

Allgra is from an old Italian family and her marriage has been arranged only she gets seduced at a ball and finds herself pregnant. It turns out Cristian is the father and he insists she marries him. It's not all straight forward because he wants just to give the baby his name and she wants more.

I really enjoyed this book it was easy to read put down pick up again and get back in to their story straight away. They Characters are extremely likeable and I loved them epilogue. Recommended.
