For the price this stereo scope can reveal everything that you are looking at from circuit boards to minerals this is a great scope!

Works great for electronics and after changing the light bulb with ...
Works great for electronics and after changing the light bulb with an LED one is just perfect for soldering. I solder often 0603s and smaller plus lots of SMD ICs and this micorscope is a great help. One thing that is was not so great was the overheating of the light bulb but once I replaced it with an LED one (DE3423 Led Interior Lights Dome Light Bulb for Car) it is perfect. The light bulb is a 36mm Car Light Dome

Good optics, sturdy, works as intended, good classroom or homeschool microscope
This is a sturdy, well-built microscope suitable for analyzing circuit boards, rocks/minerals, or just about anything that will fit in the tray. It is not intended to use to see microscopic organisms such as amoeba, etc. It has very clear optics and it's ease of focus is a plus, with both the main body focus and the eyepiece focus capabilities. It can magnify from 10X to 30x and maintains good clarity throughout the magnification range. It performs exactly as designed and would make a good addition to a classroom or homeschool. The light gets extremely hot and I replaced the incandescent lamp that comes with the microscope with an LED equivalent, DE3423, which can be ordered here on Amazon very affordably. It never got hot even after a couple of hours, made a huge difference, and is a must for anyone who uses this microscope. This microscope is a great value and should last for years.
