Had this waiting around to be install, but when I did the reversing camers has 2 wide vertical lines, no one answering requests for help, and now the return date has passed. Very disappointed

I had a V5 modular camera with camera bought already before but I accidentally broke the cable attaching to the rear cam and the metal connector got stuck inside so I wanted to replace the rear cam. So the old cam i had records ‘Colored Videos/Footage’, the cable can be unplugged easily from the rear cam itself.Now this one: its records “BLACK AND WHITE FOOTAGE/VIDEO”, and the cable is like already built in connected to the rear cam. Although it looks the same to the old one I got, it totally is different! And I hate the black and white video, are we in the 50s?Also, prior to buying here in amazon for replacement, I first bought a replacement in Best Buy but I got the same item, the camera was broken there were black lines on the footage and it was also black and white. Returned it. So now am trying the one here in amazon but they both have the same issues. I am not sure if this is a newer version which is ssssoooo much worse! But I need the older version! Where can I find it???

As others have said, it’s black and white camera with a large black bar on the right side of the screen.

This is the second replacement of this camera. This did much like the the first as soon as I plugged it in to the main dash cam thinking I'd see a high quality image as promised. See it for yourself. There are these large black bars that prevent you to see what's being displayedI've contacted the seller multiple times to no avail. Absolutely not worth the headache.

I got this rear view camera for my sons car to go with the same brand of dash camera but he could never get it to work and even attempted to trouble shoot it himself.
