I was a bit dubious whether this would fit me as I'm a size 6-8 and most "adjustable" products are usually a bit big on me...but this fits perfectly. It sits well and easy to adjust. After the initial "wow this is heavy" moans, I forgot I was actually wearing it...but speed walking up hill definitely felt harder. It doesn't rub or dig in anywhere and I love the fact you can increase the weight to suit. So far so good. Looks and feels well made.

I'm really loving going for walks in this vest. I feel like it's giving my body more of a work out. Although there,was a bit of a smell when first taken out off the bag, it soon goes. Like that it is adjustable so I can add more weights as I progress. All in all a great vest.

Researched and bought after consideration. My use will be for wearing on brisk walks a few times a week for strength and bone density. I’m a 48 yo female preparing for the future! I’m 5’3” and with the 5kg load it feels heavy but wearable. I haven’t worn it on a walk yet as it’s only just arrived. I like that I can add weight as I progress.You can adjust the side straps so can make it fit comfortably across bust. There’s a front pocket for phone/keys which is handy.It does rub a bit around my neck so will not wear it for any longer than the walk itself. I might wear a neck buff to protect my skin from rubbing.The only issue is that it smells strongly of diesel. This smell transfers to whatever you’re wearing. So when I do wear it I will wear with old T-shirts I no longer care about instead of any nice gym kit.UPDATE 28/02/25 - I’ve been wearing this for 2 months now, 5 times a week on the school run walk which is a 40 min round trip, including uphill. I could feel the benefit instantly in terms of posture and core engagement. Gets your heart pumping and elevates a walk you’d be doing anyway to more intense and beneficial exercise. I have progressed from 5kg to 7kg and am considering going up to the maximum 9kg. I went skiing last week and could definitely notice the benefits of additional strength and fitness when carrying my skis on my shoulder and stomping about the resort in ski boots. I enjoy wearing it and am really glad I bought it.It still has the diesel smell, my husband thinks the iron sand has been washed in diesel to prevent rusting so I guess it’s unavoidable. I wear it with old clothes.It hasn’t rubbed my skin as I don’t wear it for extended periods. Also the net pocket only fits my old iPhone 11 if I remove the tough case. So if your phone is any bigger it won’t fit.UPDATE 12/05/25OK so I’ve now been wearing this for 5 months, as described in my last update. I noticed some lower back pain in the Easter hols when I had a break from the school run/wearing vest. So I haven’t gone up to 9kg, I’ve gone down to 6kg which is the ratio recommended for me (10% of your body weight). I’ve distributed the sand bags so there is 1 either side at the front and 1 in the middle at the back. This balances the vest better over my bust, it doesn’t slide backwards over my shoulders. It feels comfortable and I’m still enjoying wearing it and look forward to my walks. Along with some other simple lifestyle changes and wearing the vest I have dropped a dress size. This wasn’t the plan, I bought it for bone density, so the weight loss has been a surprise bonus.I don’t really notice the diesel smell so much anymore and it doesn’t bother me.Overall a very happy, fitter and now slimmer customer!

Looked fab, fitted fine and no noticeable strong smell. However it leaks sound everywhere. All i have done is take it out of the box and try it on. Will buy another and hope it was just a one off..!

Good quality vest, too heavy for me, so hubby has bought it off me. He walks on treadmill with it and sweats a lot. Good u can add weights to it.

It’s been a week, liking it so far. Fits well, good weights. I’m a beginner so using it at its minimum weight is good, looking forward to add weights.

Very Happy with this weighted vest. It is well made and well thought out in design for comfort and weight variation.I've had the vest for a few days and can be confident of recommending this to anyone.I've walked many kilometres while wearing it and it fits perfectly. It doesn't rub my shoulders or neck, although I always wear a T-Shirt underneath.The adjustment straps have plenty of room, so I can wear as many layers below it as I like, when the weather changes.There was a noticeable smell when i opened the package, but this has since receded markedly. Other reviews didn't mention that it wore off, so I think its worth bearing that in mind.Great product.

Very pleased with the weight vest, nice to be able to adjust the weight you carry to suit yor needs. Good quality vest and feels comfortable to wear. I had an hours walk and there was no stress from carrying the full weight. I think this is good value for money as both my wife and I can use it.
