It's a stupid tip locked ring c clip instead. But shoutout to this tool cause I bought it, came in the next day and it toke me 5 minutes to replace that dang c clip vs using a normal c clip tool that is meant for the ones with the dimples. Made life easier. Also probably my first high quality pair of pliers and will cherish it (won't use it often cause I'm just a diy mechanist but whatever it has memories I guess LOL) Review: Works as well as my old SnapOn that finally wore out, maybe a little better. SK makes good tools and this one didn't disappoint me, especially for the price. Has just enough grip to get lock rings off and back on again without too much frustration. The right tool sure makes the job easier.

What can I say, it is SK and it is made in the USA. I had a set of these pliers for over 30 years and finally, one day they were lost. Bought these and was not disappointed, legendary SK quality and sturdiness. When you need this type of pliers for Drive Shaft retainers, nothing else will make it as easy as these. Highly Recommended!

The first pair of a different brand didn't make it through three snap rings. This pair is much better quality, did the job quickly with no hassle. Much better quality.

Having the right tool makes you feel like a pro! And this is the right tool to remove and replace a snap ring on the front axle of a Toyota Land Cruiser. This solid tool will last a dozen lifetimes for my level of use although maybe only a couple of lifetimes for a real mechanic.
