The game is a lot of fun, with great quality pieces that are all included in the set.It’s a perfect game for Pokémon lovers, it is easy for kids to learn and enjoy. Bought this for my daughter who loves Pokemon but did not know how to play the trading card game properly. This was the PERFECT way for her to learn. She was 7 at the time and picked up on it right away. The game definitely gave her more insight into all the information on the cards and inspired her to create her own decks. We still play this game frequently, and her 4 year old brother is also very interested to try and play too.

The decks come preconstructed and the included booklets make it quite easy for even younger people to learn the game. It takes you step by step, turn by turn through your first match and slowly lets you take control over time so you don't get overwhelmed.I do have a few complaints though. I ordered three of these and a handful of the cards came with damage. It feels like these were printed with lower quality control compared to cards you would get in normal booster packs. Also, some of the cards were in the incorrect order which made using the booklets and learning harder since we had to re-order the cards on the fly.Other than the damage and card order, the cards are still good and have some stuff you could potentially take and place into other decks such as Boss's Orders, Shauna, Sonia, and Switch.It's a good deal and they've been on sale lately so the price to entry is low.

Got this for my son for Christmas and he loves it!! He's been collecting cards for about a year now so I figured it's time to teach us both how to battle. They make it so easy to learn with the hardboard battle mat, 3 premade decks, coin, hit counters, instruction manual and more. Most importantly you start with a Pikachu electric deck and the other player with the cinderace fire deck. Each card in these decks are numbered so you start by putting them in order. Then just follow your individual manual book for that certain deck and it just walkes you threw how to play, with the manual already knowing what's going to happen next! It's awesome and super easy to learn! Then once you get it down you can switch to using the blue, Eevee darkness deck that's a bit more complicated and then you just get better and better and it all becomes very easy and a blast to play! If your kiddo is wanting to learn how to battle in Pokemon then I say this is the best way to go, hands down!!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this game for my 7-year-old daughter who loves Pokémon and she LOVED it! She isn’t even super into all the official technical ways to play and to battle, but she still has so much fun playing this game in her own way. For those who wants to play the official way there are detailed instructions as well as tutorial videos they give you links to. All of the pieces of the game are good quality. I paid $15 for it, which I felt was a fair value. I would recommend this game for Pokémon lovers.

Bought for my grandson for his bday who loves Pokémon. Even though he is only 5 he will enjoy this game for years to come! Perfect for Pokémon fans.
