The media could not be loaded. I purchase this sliplo bumper scrap guard to protect my carbon fiber lip from being damaged. This item had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. In the package, you get plenty of the rubber guards to go under whatever item you’re putting it on. The rubber guards were plenty to cover my lip, and I even had one strip left over. Before I started, I measured and laid out the rubber strips to get an idea of how they would fit. I used heavy duty scissors to cut the rubber strips down to size.I like how this comes with two packages of adhesive promoter. After cleaning the surface with surface prep spray, I wiped the surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying the adhesive promoter. Once that was dry, I started from one end placing the rubber strips on my lip. Once they were all on, I used a heat gun to heat up the adhesive just to make sure it would stick. I also applied some pressure for about 45 seconds. Once I install my lip and have had time to see how good these scrap guards help or not then I will update my review.

My husband has significantly lowered his car by adding a carbon fiber splitter on his front bumper and we live up by a mountain with a steep driveway. This guard has saved that very expensive carbon fiber splitter many, many times. On the picture where I circled the area in red is where the guard has taken many scrapes from the driveway/street while the splitter remained unaffected. It also stays in place perfectly even when being dragged across concrete and asphalt and is clearly very durable. The second picture shows how sleek it is. You really have no idea it’s there unless you’re practically lying on the ground (like I was to take this picture!) it comes in many segments to get the perfect fit around any curves and angles. Definitely recommend and will buy again!

I recently bought a Jblood bumper from Japan that has a carbon fiber lip and wanted to protect it as much as possible. I decided to install the Sliplo protector BEFORE taking my bumper to get painted and I’m so glad I did.Upon leaving my driveway to go to the paint shop and also arriving back home right after fresh paint, I scraped my bumper and my heart sank thinking “what if the Sliplo didn’t work and my carbon fiber lip got damaged?” So I immediately checked my bumper/lip and the Sliplo did its job And there is absolutely no damage to the carbon fiber. I’m really impressed and you can see in my first two photos the minimal damage the Sliplo took but none on my lip.Worth the cost if you have an expensive lip or bumper to protect.

I've had these on my AMG GT for three months now and they are holding up great. I can hear and feel them rub when I go over inclines (car is lowered). They have saved my bumper so far!

Follow the directions. The adhesion promoter where dried out. Not holding up the bottom of the front bumper splitter. Started coming off after my first car wash. Re-attach and used a heat gun and it didn't matter. Came off again. For the price it was definitely a let down

I just got my bumper painted and wnated a way to help prevent future scratches from curbs or the parking bumpers.This seems to be exactly what I needed.I did not have any adhesion issues as it was a newly painted bumper and I also used Rubbing Alcohol to clean each spot.BUT, I did find that EACH cleaning wipe it came with was Dry. I did not deduct a star for that as it has nothign to do with the product, but I recommend having some rubbing alcohol or similar of your own when installing these.
