I am not your average person reviewing a Bluetooth speaker because I am a collector of quality audio products. I have 38 Bluetooth speakers, yes I said 38. I have all the popular ones from Bose, Aiwa, JBL, Klipsch, Beats, and many others. I also have mid-to-high end systems from Onkyo, Bose, and Yamaha, as well as mid-tier products from Sony, Kenwood, JL Audio, and JBL so I have heard quality products perform.I directly compared this speaker with the Soundlink 3 which is about the same size but costs more, a lot more when I got it. The sound is on par with the Bose, but with the added ability to quickly adjust the Bass and Treble, the GGMM E5 can easily be tuned to sound superior to the Bose. I have developed into a bit of an audiophile, and I enjoy accurate reproduction of sound. With a few minor turns of the adjustment knobs, the GGMM can become one of the most authentic sounding speakers I have heard. I turned the bass down and the treble up a little, and there it was, the sound I was seeking. It doesn’t have the raw power of a Diamond box or Aiwa, but for being very portable it sounds better than the rest.I have not listened long enough to rate the battery, but the connection to Wi-Fi is super easy. Just download the GGMM E-series app and follow the instructions. Airplay works flawlessly. Bluetooth works just like other Bluetooth speakers.The key thing to remember is that this GGMM E5 sounds great and has all of the connection options you can ask for in any speaker. I paid full price for this speaker and will buy more GGMM products.

Rarely do I seek out writing a review but this was my 3rd purchase of a GGMM audio product and while all of them were outstanding, this E5 blew me away. It is an attractive piece, classic simplicity. But it is amazingly thin and, when on its strap over the shoulder has a nice look...almost like a fine purse. Anyway...I consider myself approaching audiophile level. As slender as this device is, its fidelity is amazing. The manual knobs for treble and bass is a nice touch. But flat, flat is dynamite. The WiFi connectivity is a must for me because I play uncompressed audio files that need the bandwidth. I hope someone at GGMM sees this. They deserve a pat on the back.

I spent a significant amount of time with their awesome customer service to making this work, but am packing this up for return. I wanted to get it to work as one piece of an entire house wifi speaker system and was just asking too much. I purchased this because of its Wifi and Alexa functionality. The lack of detailed setup instructions made it a more time consuming and frustrating experience to set up, but emailing the company and rebooting a few apps helped with that. FYI - they responded within a few hours, which was nice and very unexpected.I never could get Alexa to function, which in an of itself is a deal breaker. However, I really wanted a speaker for my whole house stereo system. I control via Airfoil on my iMac. I'll admit I push the envelope with tech. I didn't want to be stuck with using a proprietary system (be it Sonos or Bose, which no longer have Airplay), and had high hopes for this, as it does have Airplay. However, the playback was out of sync with the Apple TVs connected to my Denon receivers in addition my Libratone Zipp (which is more than 2x the cost of this unit).This would have been a great option for a bedroom/office unit in my system, but the delay in playback made it a poor fit for my purposes and I'll need to return. This was probably no fault of the unit, but rather what I was asking of it. However, I could not give it more stars because I never could get Alexa to work with the unit or get to sync with my whole house system.Sound is okay for the price point. For those just wanting a bluetooth or wifi system with only this brand speaker, it may very well meet your needs.EDIT: I must reiterate my customer service was phenomenal. They are continuing to work on my issue even though I've returned the unit.

Getting used to how this functions took awhile, but I've now used it for about a month and really like it! I think the instructions should be a bit better, but then once I used it every day for awhile it all became much more clear. I wanted it to replace my bathroom radio that became intermittant, mainly for me to listen to news in the mornings (and for my wife to listen to news OR music). It doesn't always connect to my wi-fi when turned on each day... but this appears to be because the signal is a little weak in the location I have it. If it doesn't connect, I can pick it up and move it closer to my Access Point to make the initial connection, and from then on it stays connected and works fine. i like its ability to listen to recorded podcasts from my iPhone, or easily return to one of the saved Internet radio stations. My wife is technically challanged, but even she has gotten used to it and successfully used Alexa to connect to our Amazon Music. The only negative I can think of is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to know which saved Internet station it is connected to (would be nice to have an LED number light up the saved station number, if not the ability to read out the station's call letters). In conjuction, I have to re-save my stations to get them into a specific priority order for sequencially selecting them. But all in all, this is a terrific device!! I even had to make a couple of calls to their tech support when setting it up (things not explained well in the instructions), and this was a really smooth experience - a knowledgeable rep who cared about my ability to grasp the functionality. It even did two firmware upgrades 'on its own' within the first week - really nice support!! Great buy!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Ich lasse im Video mal den Bluetooth Lautsprecher für sich sprechen.Ich habe die (kleinere) Variante bestellt und bin auch damit super zufrieden.Der Lautsprecher sieht sehr gut aus und bietet eine super Verarbeitung ohne Fehlern.Zum Lieferumfang gehört zusätzlich ein Trageband, zum leichten Transport.Ich bin von dem Sound begeistert, für so einen kleinen Lautsprecher.Es gibt ein Regler für den Bass und einen für die Höhen, so kann man ganz individuell nach seinem Geschmack den Sound einstellen.Die Kopplung per Bluetooth geht sehr schnell und zuverlässig, auch per AUX ist eine Verbindung möglich.Der integrierter Akku (6600 mAh) hält richtig lange durch. Ein ganzer Abend mit dem Lautsprecher ist so kein Problem.Außerdem gibt es per USB Schnittstelle eine Möglichkeit sein Handy nebenbei zu laden.Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Gerät.Klare Kaufempfehlung, vor allem jetzt wo der Sommer vor der Tür steht.Einfach überall mit hinnehmen (See, Garten, Terrasse,...)Mein Wunsch für die nächste Generation: DAB+ Integration für noch mehr Flexibilität.GGMM macht bitte weiter so, einfach nur klasse Produkte!

Wie in diversen anderen Rezensionen bereits beschrieben hinterlässt der E5 bereits durch Design und Gewicht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Verbindung zu Router und App sind schnell hergestellt und so kann man sich recht bald schon von seinen klanglichen Qualitäten überzeugen. Auch hohe Lautstärken meistert er recht anstandlos, mit Tiefen- und Höhenregler kann er gut dem eigenen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden. Der Wechsel zwischen Wifi-, Bluetooth und Line-in-Modus erfolgt intuitiv und die Alexa-Taste (auch die App verfügt über einen entsprechenden Button) erweitert die Funktionalität zusätzlich. Kleine Kritikpunkte wären: 1. Der Klang ist etwas dumpfer als erwartet, das liegt m.E. am Plastikgehäuse - mein Sohn (verwöhnt durch zwei MegaBooms) findet ihn trotzdem toll. 2. Auch für die Lautstärke-Regelung hätte ich mir einen Drehknopf gewünscht, der eine feinere Einstellung zulassen würde. 3. Im Bluetooth-Modus schaltet er sich im Gegensatz zu meinen anderen Bluetooth-Lautsprechern nicht ab, wenn kein Signal mehr kommt (so zumindest meine Beobachtung.) Beende ich die Musik vom Handy z.B. zum Einschlafen automatisch, ist der Lautsprecher morgens immer noch an.Ach ja: Wie erhofft konnte ich meine anderen Multiroom-Lautsprecher (preiswert realisiert mit M5-AudioCast-Adaptern), die nicht Alexa-fähig sind, durch den E5 zum Abspielen von Amazon Music bewegen. So kann ich nun auch diese Musik-Quelle in alle Räume streamen - absolut synchron und je nach Einstellung auch in Stereo!

Das Gehäuse im Retrolook ist wertig und massiv, dadurch erreicht der Lautsprecher natürlich ein gewisses Gewicht. Der Sound ist sehr gut und kann ja durch die Klangregler individuell eingestellt werden. Der E5 klingt vielleicht nicht ganz so natürlich, sondern eher akzentuiert, aber dennoch ausgewogen und kraftvoll, so dass man ihn automatisch gern etwas lauter hört. Hier hat er auch erstaunliche Reserven. Die Bässe sind angesichts der geringen Bautiefe gut, aber enden ungefähr im 80 Hz- Bereich, also nicht unbedingt für Liebhaber tiefer Bässe.Neben der Klangregelung sind auch die Speichertasten hervorzuheben, die direkt oder per App belegt werden können. Auch die Alexa- Bedienung erfolgt zügig, wenn auch nur auf Knopfdruck. Außerdem ist positiv zu erwähnen, dass der E5 über eine WPS- Taste verfügt, so dass man leicht und ohne App in ein anderes WLAN- Netzwerk wechseln kann, sofern dieses WPS unterstützt. Ein weiteres nettes Feature: der E5 beinhaltet sogar einen WLAN- Repeater, mit dem man die Reichweite des eigenen WLAN vergrößern kann. Das ist zum Beispiel auf Terrasse/Balkon nützlich, wenn das Notebook selbst einen schlechteren Empfang hat (der Empfang des E5 ist sehr gut). Das hat mich davor bewahrt, extra noch eigenen Repeater für draußen zu installieren.Insgesamt ist der E5 ein überzeugender und sehr gut ausgestatteter BT-/WLAN- Lautsprecher!Als kleine Nachteile können folgende Punkte genannt werden:- Die Aufladung muss mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil erfolgen, es gibt keinen Micro-USB- Ladeeingang.- Bei den Presets muss man sich durchtasten und es wird am Gerät nicht angezeigt, welche Preset- Taste gerade aktiv ist. Tip: wenn man die ersten beiden Favoritentasten mit dem gleichen Sender belegt, erkennt man immer, wann man auf Platz 2 angekommen ist (opfert dadurch natürlich einen Speicherplatz).- Die Lautstärkeregelung erfolgt über einen Kipptaster, hier wäre ein Drehregler wie bei den Klangreglern vorzuziehen und besser passen.Diese Punkte sind eher Verbesserungsvorschläge, rechtfertigen aber aber m.E. keine Abwertung - dazu ist der Lautsprecher einfach zu gut!Anmerkung:Zu Beginn war leider ausgerechnet mein Lieblingssender N-JOY vom NDR nicht als Livestation in der TuneIn- Liste der App zu finden, weshalb man den Sender nur über Alexa aufrufen und daher auch nicht speichern konnte. Nach mehreren Mails an GGMM und Tune-In wurde der Sender aber dann tatsächlich ergänzt. Danke für diesen internationalen Service!

Der bisherige Eindruck ist mehr als positiv und hat mich selbst überrascht – das Design und die Robustheit dieses Gerätes sind einfach top.Selbst der Bass kann sich für diese Größe wirklich hören lassen.Mir fiel sofort die Ausgeglichenheit zwischen Höhen und Tiefen auf.Die Lautstärke hab' ich bis aufs letzte ausgereizt und auch am Maximum kamen die Töne überaus klar rüber.Man kann die Box ausreichend laut machen, reicht absolut für den Hausgebrauch, für Terrasse oder den Garten.Die Laufzeit des Akkus finde ich persönlich auch als ausreichend:Das Bluetooth-Pairing funktioniert wunderbar, die Tasten machen auch, was sie sollen und die Oberfläche ist leicht zu reinigen.Für unterwegs (mit edlem Lederträger) oder für einen gemütlichen Sommerabend auf dem Balkon ist dieser Lautsprecher perfekt.Ich kann dieses Produkt nur empfehlen.

Bonjour,Je possède cette enceinte depuis 2 semaines.Mon avis est un peu plus mitigé que les retours que j'avais pu lire sur les blogs, ou au travers des avis Amazon.** Les points positifs **- Belle finition- Boutons physiques de réglage des basses et des aigus- Connectivité WiFi- Le bouton "favoris", permettant de sélectionner jusqu'à 6 WebRadios, sans avoir à sortir son téléphone.** Les points en retraits **- La qualité sonore ne me parait pas toujours à la hauteur. Le son n'est pas vraiment neutre (basses et aigus exagérés), et pas très bien défini (un peu étouffé).Je vous invite à comparer son rendu avec d'autres enceintes (voir par exemple site oluvsgadgets).J'aurais dû connaître ce site avant de concrétiser mon achat !- Le temps de démarrage, puis de connexion au réseau WiFi. Compter environ 1 minute !- Le logiciel Android semble peu abouti : impossible de mettre en service l'enceinte depuis un téléphone Nexus 5X sous Android 7.1. J'ai dû ressortir une vieille tablette ...Une fois paramétré, c'est heureusement fonctionnel, mais l'application Android n'est pas des plus ergonomique ...- Ecoute à faible volume difficile (particulièrement en source "WiFi") : le volume passe de "trop faible" (niveau 1) à "déjà un peu trop fort pour un fond sonore" (niveau 2).Il faudrait davantage de finesse dans le réglage du volume sonore.- Connectivité Bluetooth perfectible : l'enceinte ne prend en charge que le médiocre codec A2DP SBC.Les codecs aptX ou AAC sont absents. Dommage, ceux-ci permettent d'acheminer la musique sans compression agressive !-> Compte tenu de son prix (payé un peu plus de 110 €), le bilan reste globalement positif.
