Love these! I first ordered the mini, but it was too small for the charging cable I had in mind. While the cable length should have worked in theory, it's a thick cable and was just a bit too big for the mini. Fortunately, the mini size worked well for two skinny cables I have on my desk. I bought the max size next, and it's working great for the charging cable I initially wanted to contain and for another thick cable I have. My desk looks a lot better!

Simple concept that gets the job done. More effective than using velcro as this device allows you to adjust the length of the cable much faster. Great to use to keep a desk tidy or when traveling.

I have several long and unruly charging cords that create an unsightly mess. These are so easy to use and work well with longer cords (10+ feet). I'm going to buy another set.

When my electronics cables start to look like a bird's nest, I have traditionally used cable ties to keep them in a more compact form. While this is still the best way to handle big cords that I don't move around very much, it's very inconvenient for organizing the smaller cords (2ft to 8ft) that I wind and unwind so often, like my headphone cord and laptop power cord. I knew I needed something that would allow me to wind and unwind my cords quickly and neatly, so I started shopping for something like a spool.Eventually, I found this product. It's exactly what I was looking for. The clasps that hold the ends on the cord around the spool are intuitively spaced to allow you very fine control of how long you want the cord to be. Taking it out and putting it away can both be done pretty fast, as long as you unwind from whichever end you wound around it, otherwise you'll find that it's pinned under the cord going in the other direction. This is not a big deal, though.I will likely get more of these for my other devices, at least 3 or 4 more. I found that they also sell a retractable variety, but that requires the cord to be basically built into the spool; they have those for Apple laptops, I think.

The large version worked perfectly for my 20-foot microphone extensions! I use wired mics for video work and needed to organize the cords. These are terrific and very affordable!
