I love this. I have two roommates and I work from home. I hung this right outside my bedroom door and when I am on a work call I turn it on so they know I need them to keep it down. Love it!

For the price, it's a wonderful sign. The sign is bright enough to be seen in a daylight lit room. There are plenty of colors and modes to get your message across. Most importantly, the mode and color always start the same as when you turned it off and the remote is non-directional. That said, I really don't need 19 modes. If you miss your favorite, takes another 20 button presses to get back. At least for the colors and brightness, you can go up and down.On the negative, the letters aren't perfect. The remote is a little goofy and has no macro/memory buttons to save your favorites, but for me it is more than enough. I set it on solid, bright, and just change the colors. Red is a client video call. Blue is company video call. Green is client voice call. Yellow is company voice call. My family then knows if they can work behind me and how tolerant the call is of interruptions.It is kind of fun and gets the job done. I'm sure if I spent 10x, I could find something better, but this works well enough and looks sharp. I get lots of comments when I'm on video calls about how cool the sign is.

I have the model with a bazillion colors and modes. It looks good, on or off. Switching modes is not straightforward: sure, there's a button for that, but it's hard to know what mode you've landed on as they all do rather different things. Colors, too: it seems some of them aren't solid but are meant to cycle and change. The remote looks like it's infrared (IR), and some thing or combination of things in the room where I want this apparently use similar IR signals because for no apparent reason it'll turn on, change mode, change color. I was hoping I could indicate the degree to which I'm interruptable to the kids (red: no go; green: I'm busy but come on if it matters; off: mayhem is permitted), but I've had to stick with "on = busy" and "off = not busy" with a big fat "maybe" next to all of that. Perhaps if you have less IR-generating stuff near yours it'll be a better experience.

I ordered this to save money on installing electrical in our studio. This works, but only sometimes. The remote is the cheapest thing every and if not pressed 15-20 times, it will not go on or off. Fortunately, I only use if 3-4 times a month.

I might have brought the rating down to three stars if it wasn't for the awesome look the sign has. The LEDs on two bulbs sometimes work, sometimes they don't, sometimes they flicker. From the viewing angle though- you cant really see any difference in the lettering when these diodes are on the fritz, (and if you do see it flicker- it gives it the old school neon feel) however it is annoying.The sign came without blemishes and was packaged very nicely. The sign itself is nice and bright.

I got this sign for my wife who records YouTube videos - now we can easily see when she is recording.The sign is bright and has many LED color combinations. The small RF remote control easily works through walls, and allows the user to enable the sign from inside another room.The ~$28 price is very good for what I received.One thing I overlooked in the product description is that the RF remote ships without a CR2025 coin cell battery. Be sure to pick one up or order one.Seller is responsive and quickly replaced a damaged RF remote with a new one (internal battery holder was cracked).

The sign looks nice, not cheap, a lot of color options for the light, and it’s perfect for signaling to the rest of the family when my husband is on a work call on which he’ll be presenting (i.e. keep the ruckus down). Would definitely recommend—good value.

The remote, the weight, the size, the look are all 100% perfect! Love it! The only reason it lost a star was 1) the cord is too short. 2) the remote did not come with a battery. Fortunately, I had my own battery and this bad boy was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Nice job!

I ordered my sign on the 27th of March. It was supposed to show up in late April early May.In Mid or late June I requested a refund, as the package had not showed up yet. No questions asked, just "We're terribly sorry, here is a full refund of price and shipping.Today the Sign showed up and I am SUPER HAPPY! It works great, the radio frequency controller is easy to use - but be patient, there is a TON of different BLinky modes. When you find a Mode where the colours seems to just shift in to each other like a fading rainbow, that is your solid colour mode. Just press on one of the colour +/- buttons to select colour.THe controller says to use CR2025 batteries, i only had a CE2032 and it works fine. Only difference is the thickness of the batteries.The controller has an IR diode in the front but it is not used as i could turn on and off the sign behind a closed door. The range of the controller in plain sight is at least 6 meters.Some thing to note, the aluminum LED container on the top of the lexan might be a little loose and shift backa and forth a bit. like wobbling. Nothing that impedes the use of the device, and honestly I think it might be by design.It came wrapped in one layer of thick foam plastic, and it seems to be enough from what I could see.
