North American Pet Black Lava Rock, 5" L X 5.5" W X 4.5" H, Medium, Brown / Gray

I like the fact that you can break it up, better price than most

I am not quite sure what I do not like about this rock. I have been on several volcanic islands, not Hawaii, and the lava rocks there were very different in texture, color, and weight. I know there is variation in nature but, the texture of the rock I received was very odd looking, almost ugly, and my shrimp avoided this stone like the plague. There were also some impurities in the "lava" itself that began to emerge after a few weeks in the tank, and I decided to take it out. I am not a fan.

I ordered this rock for my opae ula shrimp tank. It makes a near perfect natural habitat, and with some sea grass plants the tank looks really natural. A nice big chunk of rock for the money! My rock came from petco and was packaged very well! Very satisfied. Thanks amazon and petco!

I really lava this rock.

it looked more like a shale rock then anything close to a lave rock, not happy with it.

Excellent piece of lava. Fits nicely in my 2.5 gallon tank.

Larger than expected. Solid black. I actually had to break some of it off with a hammer so it would fit into my 1.5 gallon Opae Ula shrimp tank. I'm very happy with it!
