I didn’t need them but it doesn’t come with instructions. Use a meter to determine how it needs installed on your source. Pretty straightforward but fair to say no instructions.

Needed to replace the factory thermostat that came with my fireplace, it was always running the blower even when the fireplace was off. this worked perfectly, just magnetically attached underneath the fireplace and connected to the existing wiring of the fan blower. Worked right away.

I put it on in minutes. The only downside is it doesn’t cut back as low as the original RPMs don’t get as low.

Easy to install per installations in my vent free fireplace manual. Now fan turns on and off automatically when we light the fireplace or turn it off. Nice upgrade. Takes only a few minutes to start the fan when the fire is first lit.

Lasted 1-1/2 heating seasons ( Nov.- April) now the power stays on at all temeratures

So far it shows durability. Good price for the quality.

I wanted to slow down the rpms on old 1950s vintage fan to make it slightly less noisy and not blow all the papers off my desk. I easily wired/soldered the new rheostat into the wiring setup. Works great now. I ordered two more for a couple more vintage fans I use.
