Love this stuff, it smells great

I gave this a shot because it was affordable and had positive reviews. This is as honest I can be about the “new car smell” variety:It smells cheap. Really cheap. And very floral. Like a very generic, nondescript fake floral smell that you’d get from buying those really cheap fabric softener sheets ar the dollar store. Or the cheapest air freshener spray at the same dollar store.New car smell should be subtle and clean and maybe even a little complex in how it smells.I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but I had it slightly open in the backseat of the car and was in the car for about 15 minutes and I had a headache by the time I got back home. Typically I’m not sensitive to scents but this smells more like fumes than it smells like something to make the air smell cleaner.I threw it away and had to let my car air out for a day.And ironically, my thrash can now smells like an overload of cheap, nondescript floral fumes, which is overwhelming. I actually preferred the natural smell of garbage to the scent stuck in there now after the air freshener has been sitting in it.Honestly, whatever your car smells like right now I promise it’s better than smelling fake flower scents from what seems like hundreds of cheap fabric softener sheets stuffed into the seats. Ugghhhh.

Just open slightly and ur car will smell great! Let me tell you how wonderful this works. A package of meat purchased from grocery store had slid into my door panel and I didnt notice til days later when I opened the door. Whew... thought a critter climbed in and died! After removing I cleaned and sprayed but scent remained. My son had told me he uses Refresh so I ordered immediately. It did the trick and the smell is just like a new car again. Not overpowering and does not give me a headache.

Expected to really be able to smell this as it's a gel, with a top that rotates giving you an option of how open it is. Even on full blast and sitting in a closed in space, it doesn't really smell any stronger. Won't buy again.

Great value but not much scent. I put two in the attic and one in each car. Can’t smell anything in the attic. I can’t even smell anything in the cars to be honest. No wonder why they were so cheap. They are shrinking quick so maybe they are removing odor out of the air but I smell no difference.

I love these and have used nothing else for the past 4 years. This air freshener is very light and will not work if trying to get rid of big odors. Your vehicle must first be spotless and carpeting and upholstery if fabric must first be shampooed. Every time someone enters my car they say it still smells new and it does.

I wanted to like this due to the price. But I don’t even notice it’s in the car. I don’t smell anything
