In addition to the removable filter (which I wanted to remove because it has plastic components) the piece inside the kettle which holds the plastic filter is plastic as well, but could be snapped out easily! I was thrilled about that, as now there is no plastic inside the kettle at all!!! It seems to work as expected, and is really cute. I also have the matching toaster. Love them both!

Love it and love the color. Picture shows it well. It says not a bright green It is definitely like a pistachio green and we added the toaster and some hand towels and looking for some more items

Just started using it today. Quality appears to be good. If you are buying this, like me, to have a kettle where the water does not touch plastic, you are going to need to get a little creative, as I did. As well as removing the removable filter, which is plastic, you also have to remove the plastic frame that holds the filter. It’s held in place by three little snaps. In order to remove it, you have to carefully put your hand inside the kettle, and push the bottom snap up, and out. That way, the top two snaps will disengage – it doesn’t seem possible to engage the top two first, so the trick is to disengage the bottom one. Also, this is not a double skin stainless steel, so the outside of the kettle does get very hot – though this is not really an issue, because the handle is a good design and keeps your hand away from the metal.

This was a gift to my daughter , she is pregnant and loves her hot tea !! Makes life much quicker for her and her hubby ! works very fast

I just got the kettle and did my first water boil. After doing it i noticed at the bottom of the kettle there are some rusty (yellowish) spots. I am going to return it. i like the design a lot but unfortunately I can't tolerate the spots.

I love this kettle! Exactly what I wanted to replace my previous red retro kettle. Based on the reviewers who said the plastic piece could be removed, that was my deciding factor. It actually wasn't too hard to remove either, so I was glad for that. I wanted an all stainless steel kettle interior with a lid that's removable. I don't like the flip top kind, because they don't open properly and then they break. I find no issues with taking the lid off on this kettle. Comes off easily with one hand. It does have little clip tabs that keep it secure, so maybe that's what people are having an issue with, because it is a somewhat tight fit. The price for this kettle is more than I typically would pay, but it was worth it to get what I wanted. My previous Kettle I had for about 9 years, so I knew the style well. I believe somebody said the quality of this product was low, but I have to say this quality is really good. It did take a lot of work cleaning it, to get rid of that new chemical smell, but now after boiling at a few times and with baking soda once, I have it in a good usable state. Hopefully this Kettle will last me as long as the last. I've only had it a few days, but based on my experience so far, I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

It’s pretty, but it smells like chemicals so bad. The handle and button are plastic, not as bougie as the pics. Returning.

The water boiled to about 190°C which is very hot imo. If you want a kettle that doesn’t get this hot it might not be the one for you. But I love it. It boiled the full max water amount very quickly. I like that the kid is not the type that pops up with a button as I find those get defective too quickly. The lid goes on and off easy for me with no difficulty and it needs to be snug or you won’t have a quick boil. I hope it stays tight over time. The size is perfect. Not too big or too small. No need for a massive kettle unless you make large pots of tea on a regular basis.
