I wanted this to work so badly, and it did, but barely.I poured in the batter and learned the hard way the silicon is too weak to support itself properly.It started to roll/bend towards the top of the skull.I had to ask for help and we jerryrigged a cookie sheet with stuff propped under it to keep it level.After baking, it showed the dent in the head and flat teeth from the lack of keeping shape.I'm disappointed, but the overall shape is still decent, and it released from the mold fairly easily, hence 3 stars.I wished for something sturdy, but this wasn't it.

Ice lasts a long time and takes a long time to freeze. 2 issues were present and that resulted in the loss of a star:Ice molding funnel is way too small. Its about 10 mL and it is extremely frustrating to use. It takes about 25-30 pours to fill one mold.It's not easy to close all the gaps on the mold and that can and often does result in leaking and a visible 2 sided band on the ice.Otherwise it works as advertised. Needs a better funnel.

I used melting chocolate and it worked great. I messed up the back of the skull and didn’t have enough left to retry but that’s my lack of skill in the kitchen not the product. I then used it to make red velvet cake for inside the skull for effect when cutting into it - you need two boxes of cake mix!!Looked great when cut into.I look forward to having a reason to use it again.Cleaned easily

So I was tasked with making a Skeletor cake, and I really needed a mold of a skull to get me started. I found this and it worked out perfectly! I made a cake pop ”dough” and put it in the mold, froze it, and it came right out without issue. May have just been nicer if it wasn’t so big lol. Otherwise it was great.

Tis *ice* mold probably works well for ice, and likely works well for wax, but is not great for 3d resin molds.If you plan on using the lower half for resin, that works reasonably well *if* you use deep pour resin and a pressure pot

My son loved his birthday cake. Maybe I should have used less batter instead of filling them. By the time the center was cooked, the sides were overcooked. I places the molds in a standard cake pan so that I could move it into the oven for baking.

It's a cool cake pan for sure but for a very unskilled baker it's way harder to use than I expected. My skull looked more like an alien 👽☠️

Had high hopes to make a 3D skull cake. But after 2 failed attempts, the design of this mold is too flimsy. Both the front and back had dents in them, even with trying to prop them up. It is easy to use, clean, and had no issues with removing the cake, but getting a cake to turn out is not working because there is no structure to support the mold properly.*Update, I will say the seller has excellent customer service.

The design is great but the material is not strong enough to hold the weight of the batter holdin it, so the cake slumped and deformed. It might need reinforcement.

I purchased this to make a whole bunch of spray foam skulls and it worked perfectly

Nice product but didn't work as a mold cake. If used for cakes be prepared to use a lot of filler between the two halves. Nice details though.

I have not used this yet I just received it but it came all rolled up in a vacuumed bag with no instructions and no information. I can't wait to bake a skull cake, I just don't know how much batter to put in the mold & if I need to spray non stick cooking spray. I hate when I do not receive instructions and information about a product, it is very frustrating. I gave it a 3 because once I unrolled it the skull looks pretty cool but only if it turns out ok when I bake with it. If you aren't good at baking without instructions I wouldn't recommend this product

Used it for chocolate candies that came out great! An excellent purchase.
