Do these run true to size.? I usually wear 8 1/2 wide. Should I get the mens 8-9?

I am a woman that wears a size 8 or 8 1/2 shoe, and I buy a womans size 7-8 Aetrex walker/runner insole. I think they run pretty true to shoe size, but they do take up room in the shoe. The insole in the shoe has to be removed before inserting these, & I usually have to buy an 8 1/2 shoe instead of an 8 to allow for the insole. They are wonderfully comfortable!

I wear a size 13 shoe, would i need to order the 14-15 to make sure i have the length?

I have a size 13 and these inserts were a life saver. I had pain and was going to give up walking. I hope the design has not changed as mentioned by "Ski Cat". I would order the size 13 you will notice an immediate improvement with walking. .

Are these good for someone with a high arch and planters fasciitis?

I'm not sure, I have flat feet and they really helped me. You can write the company or ask your doctor. The description might answer your questions. By the way I love mine, really makes a difference as I walk between 7-10 miles daily. Try Hoka One One shoes they provide good support. I have the Hoka One One Bondi 5 which have thick soles especially in the heel area. Wonderful my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Good luck
