Professionally packed in the box, they are flawless. I would recommend these to anyone wishing to get better output circulation in the tank along with surface skimming too! Recommended. I have been building aquariums and taking care of fish both salt and fresh and now planted. 30 years now.Update: after a full year they have not broke and are still perfect. What value!

Overall I am very pleased with this product!Goods: Gorgeous pipe set brand new out of the box - they look phenomenal in the aquarium - and they do the filtration job they are designed to do just fine.It is what it is: They are glass, so they do feel a bit fragile compared to a similar metal set. My first order arrived broken, but was immediately and rapidly replaced. Packaging seemed adequate so I chalk that up to poor handling of glass during shipping. Also, as you can see, when anything (like a broken leaf) gets stuck on the intake it can be a huge eye sore. This can be a really good thing or it can be a bit annoying, depending on your perspective and approach to the hobby. It also makes me interested to see how they look after they’ve been operating a while, and whether it will be annoying to keep them clean.One minor complaint: I wish they included pipe holders, clamps, or some other means of more securely attaching them to the aquarium. More specifically, the suction cups fix to the aquarium glass just fine, but the pipe attachment to the suction cups is flimsy so the pipes don’t stay firmly fixed in the position I set them when under pressure.

They come in a secure package. Will not break on the way! Quality is amazing! Ive had them now for a month and so far they work great! Honestly awesome buy! For 17mm hose. Trust me you wont be disappointed !

These are great. I recommend getting a secon pair because you will break them.

Woke up to a dead fish. Checked my Co2 drop checker and it was yellow. Looked at the surface of my tank and it was completely filled with micro bubbles trapped under surface biofilm.The skimmer adapter wasn't skimming at all after 6 weeks on a new high tech aquascaped setup. I realized the skimmer grooves were not submersed underwater. I figured out that I had to use a syringe to suck out the air from under the skimmer adapter to make it less buoyant. Even then, it was barely skimming as the surface scum would collect at the top causing a traffic jam. I'm also thinking to buy a U-shaped syringe just to suck out the air from under the skimmer adapter after each water change..I watched this Hamiledyi Surface Skimmer Inflow struggling for 2 hours and it was barely making a dent in the boifilm collecting at the surface. I ended up borrowing my Eheim Skim 350 from another tank; it cleaned out the entire surface of biofilm/scum in 15 minutes.I cannot rely on the Hamiledyi Surface Skimmer Inflow, especially if I go out of town for a week or two. I would rather not risk coming back to dead fish underneath a pile of surface scum with Co2 bubbles trapping Co2 micro bubbles.
