This is a very loud speaker - granted I use it for playing videos during office presentations, but it is plenty loud (too loud even at it's max), so I can't say what it would be like in a party setting, but I'd have to think that in a house, basement, or on a deck, it should be loud enough. Bluetooth connection was simple - just turn it on and have your device search for it - as soon as Pyle pops up on your device connect and you're good to go. The volume control is a little hard to get used to - it either jumps all the way up or all the way down. I've found it's best to set your device at maybe 80% then control the volume with the speaker. All in all, for the price, it's a great deal.

Absolutely love also bought the smaller rectangular one. They are supposed to connect together and play same music in sync together I have yet to figure out how to. But I also have not had the time or patience lately to really read and understand. I think I will call company and ask to be walked through with it. The sound quality is amazing and with both synced omg 😳 🥳 that will be a fun part or bbq or us just random dancing lol either way if you just buy this only 1 not the 2 it sounds great you will be very happy. Any teen or a outside worker like construction can bring and listen while working the battery life is amazingly long. You have radio too I just love it and would so recommend for the price the sound quality and ease of use it’s worth it. I was thinking of putting in my walker on Halloween tomorrow and playing the scary sounds on my phone with it in the seat part while we walk

Got this for FM radio at the drive in. Works great but problem is that when you change it to FM Radio mode, the volume is always maxed out. So you turn it on and it blasts really loud whatever channel it happens to be on. The tuning is another problem since there is no dial or indicator as to which channel you are on. I understand many may just use it as a portable speaker but if you want to use the FM radio function it is a little difficult to get volume and channel set. After that the sound is great.

Max volume while connected to Bluetooth is really good. Device is small and easy to carry. For 25 dollars you get the Bluetooth equivalent of what is normally 50 dollars. Very very happy with this little speaker tube. Has a radio function that uses one of the cables as an antenna. Usb and sd card slots. Absolute Kick ass speaker for 25 dollars. Fits well in small spaces like on top of fridge and under cabinet, see photos.

Overall, it's decent and I'm happy enough with it. It's got some good volume and the Bluetooth works fine.The FM radio receives well and has good sound but here's where the issues lie. There's no way to know what station (frequency) you're tuned to. You basically have to just figure it out based on what's playing. It's kind of a pain the butt. It seems like they could have added a small, simple display of some sort. The other issue is the volume when you first select the radio mode. It defaults to the highest setting which means that you're going to get blasted in the face until you can get it turned down. Again, a pain in the butt that doesn't need to be that way. At the highest setting, by the way, it's too much for the speaker so all you get is distortion - there's no reason for it to default to the highest setting.The controls are not exactly intuitive. You need to read the instructions. I don't mind reading, but I feel like I shouldn't really need to in order to operate a radio.Overall, I like it but the design flaws I've mentioned knock it down to 3 stars.

For the speaker I was a bit skeptical. Everyone's review said it was loud. That was the sole reason I bought it, that and the price. So when i got it I hooked it up to my laptop and was none too pleased. THEN, I connected it to my Bluetooth device and figured out the buttons and was I blown away. It's not a bass heavy speaker but the voice comes through LOUD AND CLEAR with very little distortion. I will be using this speaker when I'm riding my bike or a backyard BBQ. I think you could have a decent little party without making the neighbors too mad. 😁😁😏

If you like being able to turn up music to the point where it just becomes noise, then this Portable Bluetooth Speaker is for you! 😉 It does get pretty loud for a little speaker, but don't be surprised if people around you demand that you to turn it down because it sounds like crap to them.There's no clean highs at all, and the mids sound like they're being played about of a cardboard box. And bass? What bass? If you put it up against a wall it might make a thumping noise but that's about the best you'll get. 🤨I hate to say that I don't like this product because I do have some older Pyle equipment that I do like very much for overall quality and durability.If you appreciate music like I do - even on the go - don't waste your time ordering this unit; you'll be nothing but disappointed. ☹️

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with this speaker. It was almost fully charged upon arrival and very simple to pair to my phone ! For the cost, there can't be a better deal out there ! Sound quality is good & fairly loud for it's size too ! I honestly did not think it would be this good for what it cost ! The only thing that I haven't been able to test is the duration of play time on a charge. I did see another review that said it played all day on a charge, we'll see !
