Very easy to use. Placed this in the skimmer basket and it began to change color in a short time. Color of bag indicates that there is iron in our pool water. This product is removing the iron as expected.

Product works as described. One in each skimmer for 30K gallon pool. Keeps metals in control.

Shrinkflation is a real thing, I guess. This is much smaller than the last time I ordered it!

I wasn't sure this would really do anything, but based on other reviews I gave it a shot. We knew our pool had metals in it after having it tested at our local pool store. They then gave us a lengthy and expensive regimen to complete, to get the water back to health. Not wanting to spend too much on their proprietary formula, we gave this chemical a try.To say it couldn't be any easier to administer would be completely accurate. You just drop it in your skimmer basket for 30 days and it does what it does.Important to note - A little detail our local pool store left out; chlorine needs to be at zero if you are using this as remedial, rather than for maintenance.Within 24 hours the metals were clearing up, and some staining we thought was permanent, had cleared up as well. We waited a little longer and added chlorine back in and the pool is BEAUTIFUL.The price is off-putting for this, but I now believe it is totally worth it.

Purchased it after I completely acid washed my pool [after draining it]. Acid washing removed stains and scale. After re-filling pools, I added ascorbic acid powder [about 1 1/2 pounds, purchased on-line cheaply in one pound bags] to my 13,000 gallon salt water pool-this was very effective on metallic stains still hanging on. Ascobic acid in pool water doesn't eliminate metallic stains rather it puts it [the stain] back into solution and off the pool surfaces. At this point I added a sequestrant [to bond to the metals in solution] and only then did I add the CUlator Metal Eliminator. It has been almost 2 months and stains have not re-appeared. I did change the CUlator bag at one month and will contine to do so. The CUlator is supposed to capture the sequestered and other metals and eliminate them when you dispose of the bag.If stains come back while using the CUlator as a preventative, then the product will receive a bad rating. However that is not the case currently and so I am non-commital with my rating and will adjust it after 6 months of use.Meanwhile, my pool looks great [keeping up on the pool chemistry] after all the work-did it myself after watching You Tubes-and saved $$$.
