My previous pillow was wool pillow and it gets warm at night I would often flip the pillow over to cool down. this is my second pillow i bought from this brand. they are expensive compared to all the other choices. However, I prefer some thing non toxic and cooling is the selling point for me. My first pillow from this band was the contour type where the center is like a valley for back sleeping and the sides are an inch higher for sleeping on the sides. However, no one sleeps without moving their head at night. So for me I felt the pillow was too high at the 4.5 in the center and 5.5 inch on the side. When i rolled to the side since it is too soft it didnt give me enough support to keep my shoulder from collapsing and in the center at 4.5 inch was too high for my neck. So here I am buying their thinnest pillow at 3.5 inches flat no contour "ANATOMIC" design. And I love it! I feel my neck is more comfortable so I can breath better. So it is soft but not too soft, so when I actually put my head down it does get lower than the 3.5 inch. This is great for back sleeper, if you are a side sleeper than the ANATOMIC pillow would be what you want instead of this.

I have a pinched nerve and have been going to a chiropractor for the first time. One of the things he asked about was my pillow, which was awful. He then recommended I buy a cooling gel memory foam pillow which would support my neck and it costs about $50. I looked it up and there's no way I'm breathing chemicals from the Chinese made memory foam product for 8 hours a night. Years ago I bought a toxic, chemical filled mattress that was made in China that made us all feel ill from the noxious smell. I had to return it because it was so bad. I learned that formaldehyde and other chemicals are allowed in Chinese memory foam products, but are not in US made. So I did my research and discovered Technogel pillows which are made in Italy. I'm happy to pay 3x the price for a quality Italian made product. I LOVE this pillow! Even after just the first night, it made a difference. It supports my head and neck like no other pillow I've used. It has a cooling side which is good for my pinched nerve in my neck and if I don't want the cool gel, I can turn it over and use the other side. I purchased the medium pillow which is perfect for me, but there are two other sizes available. Best of all, unlike reviews on the other $50 pillow complaining about a chemical odor, there is NO ODOR emanating from this pillow, whatsoever. It also comes with a soft, washable pillowcase. I just LOVE this pillow. Highly recommended, especially for anyone with head, neck or spine issues. A+

I had the original version of this pillow in 2012 and it was amazing but it didnt last that long. It did state to not have another pillow on top of it as the friction would wear it down much faster, that was my mistake. I never wanted to spend the money again thinking it would only last a few months maybe a year. I have been chasing the pillow dream ever since and the only thing that came close to waking up pain free was the original purple pillow. That is a good option except its heavy and if you like to sleep with an arm under your pillow it won't really work with it. So now I get the technogel pillow once again and the first night of sleep was amazing! I didn't wake up all night tossing and turning and adjusting my pillow. I slept like a baby and woke up with no pain in my neck. Only time will tell how long this one will last as it does seem updated over the original one (has holes in the memory foam part for air flow). Honestly if this pillow only lasts a year I'll keep buying them as nothing compares. Pain free, great sleep for the cost of 1 nice dinner for two at a decent restaurant, I'm sold.

This pillow is the worst pillow I have tried yet. I have neck issues. I’ve been told to start a YouTube channel on pillow reviewing because I have about 15 of them now within the past 10 years. I was hopeful. I also thought I was crazy for wanting to take a chance on buying a $200 dollar pillow. But I was desperate. My neck has never hurt so badly. It hurts to turn, it hurts to look up and it hurts to lift. The reviews made me hopeful because it seemed like they were very few people that were unhappy. This pillow goes flat on me. I have a small framed woman. I do not have some big heavy head so that does not explain why the pillow goes flat as it does. Take your own chances like I did. I hope that you will not be regretful like I am. I feel better neck support from a $69 pillow off of Amazon versus this one. Good luck.

This is my second pillow first one lasted about nine years. Can’t sleep without it. Well worth it. I take it everywhere. I go when traveling.

Good comfortable pillow bt it's way to heavy for easy sleeping. It weighs a lot and is hard to move or flip around when it needs rl repositioning

I was looking for a comfortable gel/cooling pillow that was of sturdy construction and fairly firm. I certainly found all three in this rather expensive pillow. I've had other gel pillows and this one certainly ranks among the better ones for cooling however, gel inserts in this pillow are below two layers of fabric and this may be why I find the cooling a bit less than others. Definitely a good pillow but when comparing with other gel pillows, I can't justify value for the money.
