It does the job.
I bought this to power my 2metre inflatable tender. Test drives using a 12v lead acid 95amp/hr battery, showed that the motor could propel the boat against moderate wind and tide. (I was using on level 3 for 2 hrs. It barely dropped the voltage at all.The issue as ever is the battery (heavy clumsy) to handle. The motor can be handled with one hand.I’ve decided for next season I’ll invest in a 12v 50amp/hr lipo battery -smaller and a lot lighter. For shuttling from the boat to shore running time/range is not such an issue.Even with an expensive battery it’s still cheaper than the £1800-2000 for an integral battery outboard motor.
