DInky but powerful
I've been using this NUC since march, and I use it a lot. I use it for movies, videos, downloads, printing, copying files, playing online games, drawing pictures. sometime I have it on for hours. it's locked up on me twice where I had to power it off. I think it was a software glitch and not the NUC's hardware, it has 3 TB. it's quiet and small. it's been great for the price and now my wife wants one.

Good Quality and Reliability
We use a lot of these, work well in all temperatures (some enclosed but outside use). Size is small and exactly what is needed.

Speedy and compact CPU
My computer whiz nephew suggested I buy this CPU when he was helping me build a new desktop system. And this was a fantastic suggestion! This thing is so small…it sits on my desktop and is barely bigger than about a hamburger! It takes up so little space!! I love that it had USB ports accessible on front in addition to the back, which makes for easier connectivity. Of course, with the Bluetooth, you don’t need too many cords. My Bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected with no problems. As for performance, so far so good! It’s a speedy processor and I’ve had no choking issues when running several programs along with video calls (vs. an older laptop that could not do anything but Zoom while Zooming…any additional programs or tabs would freeze it up). This things zips along and never freezes up. (I’m sure the larger RAM here helps, too!)Setup was easy right out of the box. And connecting devices was simple, too. This is a great little processor for a fantastic price. Can’t recommend enough!

Interesting product
A number of variables went into my decision to purchase this device. I have an aging desktop that is running out of primary disk space and is a pain to image and increase. I have KVM switches and keyboards so I can plug in a headless device like this into my KVM rig. It comes with a Windows 10 pro, upgradable to 11, license. 32 GB of ram and a 1T SSD is good enough for my needs from a hardware perspective at this time.I received the device promptly after the order. I like the size of the device as it fits nicely on my desk and fits into my KVM rig. It took some time to figure out getting Windows up and running with all the steps there, many of which are due to Microsoft, but, I found documentation online to work my way through getting the device out of the box bare bones and up an running with an updated Windows 11 install. From there I used it to rebuild my old desktop on this device which has more RAM, more system disk and is much faster and should any bad guys have made it onto my operating system over the years a clean slate is a good way to start. I could have built another whitebox build from New Egg or somewhere else, but, my needs have been met with this device with a small footprint and ample horsepower. It took me about a week to get all my stuff off the legacy desktop onto this box, but, it could have been worse. If you are into disaster recovery at the household level these devices are something to consider. Also, if you have portable UI capability you can use it somewhat like a laptop depending on your use case.

NUC NUC NUC
Okay, I've had a few days to get to know NUC NUC (homage to 3 Stooges) and have a few thoughts. Grand Box Opening: reverently lifted the precious black jewel out of its jewel box, held it at arm's length on my palm and, enraptured, was immediately, astoundingly, transported back to the grand opening night of 2001 A Space Odyssey several short decades ago. This was it: the black monolith. The film finally resolved. Next unit of computing, indeed.Three years ago my 20 20 eyes met 2020. Eye fatigue from a 17" screen had made my laptop a torture device and all but useless. 30 minute stretches was it - not good for an info-junkie. Twas time for a change and a 27" monitor proved a partial remedy -- a wonderful 4 hours until eye fatigue, so I got two more. Sensing a pattern, I plugged the now-desktop laptop into a mostly-ignored 55" cheapo 4k tv, which was instant bliss -- could now browse and read for 16 straight hours, painlessly. No pain is gain. The set-up eventually became an (upgraded) tv at 8', and two HD monitors at each side at 3' (not for claustrophobes). Squeezing every possible pixel out of the laptop/desktop with an assortment of adapters finally took its toll, which brings us back to NUC NUC.I didn't know that mini PC's even existed until a couple years ago, but was thinking that somebody really needs to build a laptop without a screen and a keyboard, and with enough pop to drive a whole bunch of cheap 4k TV's. But as I was browsing giant desktops with disgusting flashing lights and menacing red eyes, I actually searched to see if anyone was actually making a laptop without a screen and keyboard. Actually, yes, everyone was building them. But the techies were all buzzing about a company called NUC (whaa?). Good enough for me. I settled on this particular NUC model a year ago then sat back and waited and hoped for the price to come down. And here we are: Geek+ and a very lovely price. I be happy. Have begun remodeling my cave to accommodate four big screens in a 2x2 grid each center-screen-sighted on my recliner from 8' away. Happy eyes. Happy screen real estate.Cathy in Geek+ Support has been wonderful -- answering my dumb questions immediately and providing documents on configurations for four 4k screens (at 60hz no less). My dream machine has arrived and the black monolith is just around the spacetime bend. (oh, and 5 stars, too)

Very happy with purchase.
I have purchased several NUC machines from them. I own and operate a CPA firm with remote employees. 80% - 100% of what we do is through a remote server, but for the up to 20% that we do locally, these machines are perfect. They are more than powerful enough in terms of processors, SDD and memory. They offer enough graphics processing to power our huge monitors and enough ports to connect to any devices we use locally.
