OUCH !!!
The thing puts pressure painfully on the back on the neck, and is actually more uncomfortable to wear than not to. I am thoroughly disappointed with this product.

Mom actually wears this ! ! !
My dear 94 year old mama was having extreme pain in her neck and the orthopedic doctor thought it was from the way her li'l head is out in front (he called it a "turtle head") because of her stooped over posture. The doctor recommended a "cervical collar" and we got the kind that people wear when they've been in a serious car accident and had whiplash. Mom hated it, said it was very uncomfortable especially for her chin, and it ended up in her closet. I was nosing around the internet and found the "Headmaster" cervical collar so bought one. I was over at mom's today and she was wearing it!!! I think it will do a lot to take the tension off of the muscles and tendons in her neck that are having to hold up her head. The "Headmaster" is sized to fit and support the chin and is easy to put on and take off.

Helped me a lot.
r beard to stop hair stubble iI have Myasthenia gravis (MG), a weakening of the neck muscles. I gave it 4 stars because I don't think there is any brace that can give you back your full mobility. I had very prompt service. I first bought a foam Cervical collar, a total waste of money, the foam just squeezed down. I don't need it when I am sitting and mainly wear it if I am doing any more walking from room to room. I wear it for longer walks, working or cleaning, though I can only take it for about only 30min at a time (I also tire by this time and need to sit) before having to remove it. It does not have much padding, and you need to be clean shaven or have a beard to avoid hair stubble irritation. It is light weight and easy to throw on and off. It is made in Canada.

Perhaps make the chin portion smaller?
Felt too constricting to user.

Everything as described, be sure to measure the distance from the jaw line to the chin to get the correct size.

Uncomfortable
Uncomfortable to wear as the collar rubbed my collar bone in each side.
