Improved picture quality
This is the third cam that I've purchased for the backup/hitch cam on my pickup. The first two, over a period of years, simply gave up the ghost. Something I have noticed is that the second cam provided an improved picture, and this one provides an even better picture than that one, so I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

Favorite camera for a box truck
Installed this on a box truck and its clearer than the previous versions i've purchased. I had purchased this brand a few years back and they are still working great to this day.

Night vision problem with recent cameras. Seller is addressing it, but here's a fix in the meantime.
Bought one of these a while back and I have no complaints about that camera. Picture quality is nice, night vision is surprisingly decent for the price and size of the camera. Very bright LEDs with a long range - even better than some other more expensive cameras I've tried. However, something has changed with the build quality of these cameras recently. The night vision now has a halo effect from the glare of the LEDs reflecting back into the camera off of the glass. This obscures about half of the image giving you only a small hole in the middle of perfect clarity. I would avoid these cameras until this issue has been resolved.Given that flaw is addressed, these are some of the highest quality cameras you can get in this price range.-----UPDATE:I've been in contact with the seller (who has been very helpful and nice!) and I've discovered the issue. There's a foam shroud around the lens that is simply seated too low and doesn't make contact with the glass (see photo). All that's needed is to undo the four screws and remove the housing, pull the foam up about halfway, then reseat the housing. This will compress the glass against that foam, solving the IR light bleed. The seller is going to work with manufacturing to resolve the issue. But for those living with the issue already - it's an easy fix.Revising from two to four stars because that little fix isn't that big of a deal to me, especially given how much these cameras rock besides that issue!

Leaks, rust... Ect
I purchased this because of the extra long cable so I could run it to the rear of my F350. Good looking, good vid quality and worked on two of my decks. Those are the pros.CONS:Leaked in first rainstorm, screws that hold the camera to the mount looked to be stainless were cheaply chromed is my guess. They rusted immediately. Support from manufacturer was quick in email reply tried to tell me that humidity internally would cease after it warmed up but I already knew that wasn't true because it had sat in full sun for three days. The undercoat cord had unsealed connections and knowing what I know about weather and cheap electronics I had already used Bostik (extreme silicone adhesive sealant) on the connections and wrapped in heat shrink. No issues there as far as I know. I then opened the housing and the four screws that hold the front lens against the seal were not installed and that's how the water got inside. So I used the sealant around the lens, the main seal, and in the cord seal just to be sure. Finally I wrapped up by inserting silica beads inside and closed it all up. Haven't had a single issue since. The manufacturer sent me a coupon code for the purchase of another that only cost me one cent however it was for one that only had about a three foot cord that probably won't reach the back of a smart car and I'm just going to have to reseal that one too. One star for their crap product and one for their attempt to fix the issue.Buyer Beware

Good replacement
I have a 2016 Thor 29Fe and my backup camera stopped working and this was a great replacement , was a bit daunting to run the wires but i was able to get it done. I had to buy more extension wire to reach the front of the Rv but It works well.

Box truck install
I had this installed on my box truck. Its been installed installed for about 6 weeks. I like the backup camera so far. I haven't had any issues as of today. It has good a color daytime picture. Night time is black and white. It has helped backing up or parking tremendously. Without it i wouldn't be able to see anything behind be.
