Digital LG HLDS Internal SATA 24x Super Multi with M-DISC Support CD DVD Burner Writer (GH24NSD0D) - Bulk

Installed in OMC enclosure where previous Multi drive had failed after 10 months. Started up and ran properly so far on first day.

I bought two of these for my desktop computer. They work great what else can I say. No issues and fast delivery on Amazon. Easy to install and hook them up with SATA power and data cables. A+++

DVD burns -R/+R Media even in Linux!

I've gone through two of these and both had the same issue. Each time a track is started on a CD or you skip ahead on a track, there is 3 seconds of static before the playback stabilizes. Anytime the player had a break in the music and then restarted playing, there was static afterwards. Not sure if this is nitpicking, but I found it very annoying and didn't even get around to testing burning any CDs or DVDs for fear of imprinting that static on there. Playback after is fine if you're ok with the static every few minutes. I'll be going with a different drive.

Very happy with this one! I have two older LG blu-rays which are fantastic, the 12x is 12 years old now! And works perfectly after 5000 hours of burning. This drive is a newer version of the IDE version I have of this same drive from 2003. That one still works as well, in my LAST ever x86 vintage machine of the win2k/XP x86 era.

did not come with cords, and it had no place to attach them

Ordered this DVD Drive when my first one, by another seller, was not sent, they sent a completely different product. Made sure this one was an “Amazon Choice” Drive! Easy to install and set up, did a few things with it, to make sure it was functional. Seems to work great!

Facile à installer

Installed it but disks would spin up then just stop. Wouldn't read anything. Tried a different disk drive on the same system and it worked so it wasn't an issue with my computer. Also came with a rattling noise new, which was likely the beads in the internal bearing.
