Solidly Build and Smartly Designed
I'm pretty sure a contractor took off with my old one, which was of another brand and just OK. I decided I wanted an even better one to replace it, with a larger strike face and a tough wedge for multi purpose, along with a solid grip and shock absorption, and this one delivers along with good balance. I have a long-handled sledge with a similar wedge on the opposite end, but it's not always practical to use.The larger strike face makes this easier to contact what you're hammering or pounding, and at at 4lbs, it does much of the work on its own. It's also good for popping boards w/o having to pull nails. The wedge works great breaking up even thick masonry, and is effective for general deconstruction. Just make sure you wear good eye protection and perhaps even a protective facemask when working on masonry. After putting it to good work it didn't even scratch the surfaces.I don't mind paying more for solid tools. I got mine for under $30, which I thought was reasonable for this professionally designed and built tool. This is is definitely not your typical Chinese offering. I expect it to last the rest of my life, if I can keep it from being pilfered. If something changes I'll update my review.

Forging hammer
It’s hard to find a decent straight pein hammer, but this is one, it is built well with quality materials, I use this hammer on almost every knife that I build, there are more expensive, better hammers out there, but for the price you can’t beat this one

Powerful Hammer – Perfect for Breaking Cinder Blocks and Rocks!
I bought the Fiskars Pro IsoCore 3 lb Club Hammer specifically to smash up cinder blocks and rocks, and it works perfectly! This hammer is powerful and delivers exactly the force needed to get the job done. The weight is just right for heavy-duty tasks, and the IsoCore shock control system really helps reduce the vibration, making it more comfortable to use for extended periods. I’m very happy with how well it performs, and it’s now an essential tool in my collection. If you need a reliable hammer for tough demolition work, this is a great choice!

Balanced
This is well balanced. Do let it stay outside, after a few days rust will immediately develop, especially if you live in a normally very humid or wet climate area. I've had it over an year and it is still going strong. The hammer head packs a good punch for it's size. It is a great tool because, so far I don't have to resorted to a larger sledge hammer. It does so well, I just purchased a second hammer

Mjolnir ... ‘nuff said.
A hammer for the gods! We all know that Fiskars switched out the ancient wording of uru ore for today’s modern vocab of “forged steel.” What they don’t tell you is that this hammer was forged in the heart of a dying star and imbued with magical properties that actually give it its improved strike accuracy and maximized destructive force. They did seem to make some improvements on the handle swapping out the uru ore one with new a vibranium model (giving it the title isocore) which provides its excellent shock absorption. Sure they painted it black and orange to fit their brand and removed some of the Nordic rune artwork but let’s call this sledgehammer what it is. Mjolnir. Whether you need it to drive in some stakes, crack some concrete, or tame the Hulk, this hammer will do the job. The big brother to Mjolnir is also pictured and again it’s just a rebranded and slightly tuned Stormbreaker. Clearly they upgraded the handle from Groot’s severed arm to vibranium which gives it a bit more of a refined and modern look and feel. So whether your name is Thor, Bill or something else entirely all you need to wield one of these excellent tools is to be worthy. And a bit of cash of course. Asgardian enchantment doesn’t come cheap.
