When i first pulled off the safety foil under the cap, the purple color was the most beautiful deep royal purple i had ever seen in my life. The first thing i said was, "i hope my hair turns that color!" I have naturally dark brown hair, which had been lightened a little bit, but several months ago. And the result is amazing. It has a way better outcome than i was expecting. So much purple and when the sun shines on out, it's just beautiful. I highly recommend this for anyone who's looking for a new hair color that is safe and can be applied right in the shower with ease. It didn't even dye my hands without using any gloves. The bathtub on the other hand, didn't fare so well.

I love this hot pink hair shampoo. It works better than any other coloring shampoo I have tried. Very easy to apply. I use gloves because its very pigmented. Smells really good too. I leave on for about 15-20 minutes for the best results. Beautiful color with just one use. The more I use it the more vibrant my hair gets. The lightened parts of my hair is very Hot pink, the darker parts are a little more muted, but there is a pinkish tint. My hair feels so soft and silky after I follow up with conditioner. I also like that its safe hair color and cruelty free. The price is reasonable compared to others. This stuff does run, so be sure to wash it out really well or it will get on clothing and pillows. Does require some scrubbing to get out of my tiled floor. But it's worth it for hot pink hair!💕

I have a ton of highlights and dyed my hair w a semi permanent dye then used this shampoo to keep the color vibrant! I think it works very well and it’s fun to combine different colors!

Used Surface rose gold for years but tried this brand in hot pink searching for more economical options to maintain my pink highlights on dark brown hair. Shampoo definitely deposits color onto already colored hair for maintenance. However it did seem to leave hair lengths dry. I used other hair products I own to soften and reduce frizz with heat so rather pleased so far, but will keep eye out for worsening dryness. Also be careful as it will tint your nail cuticles. It washed out across time with regular hand washing.

I have brown hair and knew the Hot Pink would not actually change my hair to pink. I just wanted as little tint. I applied this shampoo to my dry hair and left it on quite a while then added some water and made a lather and left it on longer. I would say it was on my hair overall for about an hour and a half. I rinsed will and lightly conditioned my hair and there was not one inkling of a pink tint. The shampoo was messy and quite red. It did clean up pretty well though. I used gloves because I didn't want to risk staining my hands. I have used several colored semi permanent tints and colored shampoos and most gave me a little tint. Not this one. I looked in direct sunlight and there was nothing at all there. Just my usual brown hair. I do have old red highlights but they were the same as usual. It didn't work for me. I think, even though the bottle says it can be used on dark hair, results are best on light hair.

Not fan of this stuff. Made my hair feel very dry and rough after I used it. It also stained my bathtub and my hair dye doesn't even do that to my tub. I don't recommend this product.

I like this shampoo, it doesn't bother my scalp. It lasts about 3 shampoos, but you could stretch it to 4. The key to keeping the color is NOT to wash your hair daily and to use a cowash (in-between using the colored shampoo) instead of regular shampoo which strips the color and to rinse with cool water helps a lot as well. Remember this colored shampoo just sits on top of your hair so the less you wash & using the cowash will help keep the color from fading as quickly and the times you use the cowash rinse with cool water too. My hair color normally is gray in the front & brown in the back. So I use the lavender in the front & the purple on the back. Works great! It's cool too because you get a lot of dimension naturally because of the different shades of your natural color. I also like the shampoo better than the conditioner it covers way better.

I got my hair professionally dyed in February and it started to fade, so instead of going back to the salon and spending tons of money I gave this a try and it worked perfectly! I actually think it turned more vibrant than the original dye job!
