Great quality
I absolutely love these marino wool leggings. They are incredibly soft and a perfect size medium. I look forward to getting the shirt as well. Very impressed with the packaging it came in. I will be buying from this company again. I priced out at REI and it was much cheaper from this company and the quality seems equal.

works great!
Used these as a base layer for a week of skiing & snow shoeing and stayed warm. No complaints!

If the thought of wool puts you off relax, because its definitely not itchy.
The material is silky smooth so jeans glide right over. Very comfortable.

Mostly pleased
My purpose for these leggings is to wear them for warmth under skirts and dresses. I’m tall so it’s uncomfortable for me to wear footed tights, they are constantly pulling, and just not long enough to both stay up and not bind my toes. My purpose for this product is more outerwear than underwear. And while I do enjoy outdoorsy pursuits and have tech clothing for that, outdoorsy pursuits is not what I wanted these leggings for. Which brings me to the logo printed on the back of the ankle. I’m not aching to look like a gear-head when I’m wearing a skirt or dress. It’s not actually a good look for me. So I’m disappointed that the logo is so prominent. My husband feels the same about his shirts in this brand. The logo makes it look like underthings when it would otherwise be serviceable as regular clothing. That said, I absolutely love the color, the size I chose according to the measurements given was the correct size. The weight is nice. And the waistband is not bulky so it works well for wearing underneath even close-fitting clothing.

warm
The 250g wool is just the right amount for Fall and Spring. It layers well with other base-layers and isn't bulky. Recommended

Best Base Layer I have EVER worn
These are so comfortable, so soft, and fit so well as a base layer. I’ve worn synthetic base layers for years and they work fine... most brands are fine, and they wash fine, and they fit okay, and it’s fine. I didn’t think there would be that big of a difference, but I also figured as an adult it would be nice to upgrade some gear and wool weave technology has changed so much. Lemme tell you. Girls. GAME CHANGED. I love these more than life and wish I could wear only Meriwool long underwear morning, noon and night. Don’t even look at other brands with sets that retail for $100 or more per piece because these are affordable, fit great and feel sleek under clothes, hug your body but don’t constrict or bunch up, and the seams are flat and strong. I’ve washed mine three times so far (using wool detergent and following all washing instructions!) and they come out of my machine looking and feeling just as great each time, except even softer! With how affordable they are, I’m considering buying a second set to hoard away and a third set just so I can wear a pair around my house all the time. As a born and bred northerner who loves to ice fish, I approve this message and Meriwool!

Ripped! Not worth the expense.
For $60, I would expect these to be of better quality. Mine ripped (large hole) on the back of one of the pant legs in the thigh area within less than a month after receiving them. I am not a large person and have a rather small frame, so they were not stretched out. I have not been rough with them in any way, and generally wear them either at home on their own or under a pair of snow pants or rain paints. I have washed them according to the instructions on the label with other wool clothing/base layers (no zippers or anything like that) on the most gentle cycle and then hang to dry. Having them rip in less than a few weeks after receiving them is not acceptable to me for how much these cost. They should be more durable and not easily rip. I'm very disappointed about this because I really liked these base layer pants. But I will not buy any more of this kind to replace this newer pair that ripped. Why spend another $60 for a crappy pair of pants that will just rip for seemingly no reason? Very frustrating.
